Yes, V2 was uploaded around 9:30 (eastern) last night. There were a couple of (relatively minor) issues with the first build, but Dibbson has high standards and we all benefit from that.

Of course the site being "redirected" (thank God my kids weren't around) and subsequently off line for a few hours didn't help communication much.

Just out of curiosity (while we are waiting patiently ) does anyone after experiencing the different Manilla versions and non-manilla versions of WinMo 6.1 and 6.5 actually think that using Manilla increases productivity on the phone? I get that it's a lot prettier and neater and newer but I still think I can get to everywhere I want to be in less clicks and that the system (specifically opening and replying to txt and email and phone calls) is more responsive without the Manilla bloat. Does anyone disagree? If so I'm curious what you find faster and why?

I am finding Titanium to run a lot quicker and also allows for everything to be right on my first page. I recently went bcak to Titanium and will be sticking with it. I have panels for my emails, text messages, stocks, weather, shortcuts to programs, settings, voicemail, and also available or photo's, facebook, twitter, music, and I am sure some more I cannot think of. How much more productive then that can you be with access at a little slide up or down......Plus it just seems to be so much more stable and responsive to everything.

I usually run a Titanium ROM because I agree-Sense/Manila is somewhat cumbersom to work with. I came from a WM Treo, where I could pretty much do anything with one hand. I found to use the slider bar with Sense was much easer using two hands. A few other quirks with mail, being stuck with Yahoo finance for the stock updates (which are delayed) I had trouble dealing with. Going with a Titanium ROM definitely spares all the files and other overhead associated with Manila/Sense. Yes, I do believe Titanium is quicker overall as well.

omg, new rom v2 working like clock work... the screen doesn't rotate back from landscape when done texting unless i get out the application and go back in... but that is minor in comparison to the threading issues b4... thanks for the update!!

23518 V2 Manila is running like a freaking champ. Only a few issues but you mentioned most of them when you presented it. I do get the white background in manilla after a soft reset (sometimes!!! not always) but you warned us of that and its easily fixed by re-adding the wallpaper. I did try the you tube thing cause someone mentioned it and it is slow but I don't use YT. The only other thing I have experienced is the hard keys at the bottom quit responding one time but after a soft reset it went away, but i havent been able to repeat it so it was probably a fluke.

I love how the wallpaper is on all manila pages now. Also google maps is now fixed.

Only other wish right is to have the HTC Calculator added to replace the stock

Nice job as always. Folks if you havent yet consider throwing a donation at dibbson these roms are solid and his "customer support" is top notch.
