Just added lunacieROM 23518-32 - this is a COM3 branch build of Windows Phone 6.5.5 featuring threaded e-mail, Mobile Office 2010. Battery life is good, build is very stable & fast. Thanks to Da_G for the SYS!

lunacieROM 28205-30 is now online - download links halfway down the page. Brand new WM Build (thanks to Da_G), plus my own Rhodium dialer fix, and some updated packages. Phone dialer is buggy - lockups and scrollbars on occasion

lunacieROM 23518-32aL is a 'LITE' beta ROM aimed at VZW TPs with gimp'ed RAM. It features as few external packages as possible (has only quickgps & cleanRAM), and an 6mb Pagepool. This is an update to fix a problem with Album - let me know if it's working.

Based on Calkulin's 4.2 kitchen (Ervius Visual Kitchen), with a pinch of apps, a dash of customizations, and an eye towards whatever is on the horizon of Touch Pro development. Really, most of the credit goes to the folks in my thanks list (which will expand over time, no doubt) - I'm just tossing the salad, so to speak...

I'm going to wait a few days for landscape to get a little further along. I think Rota is going to post a new cab tomorrow with some badly needed fixes, and then I'll see how it cooks in. If all goes well I could have it in day after tomorrow.

I'm sticking with 28005 SYS for right now, but if there are really great arguments for me adding or switching I'm all ears. I may not be able to test other SYS, though. If a SYS gets cooked & uploaded 'untested' I will make that known on Page 1.

And wow, thanks for checking it out - I'm so anxious to hear how you guys like it...

MMS works, but you'll have to do the minor registry mods (carrier based) since this is a 'generic' ROM. Also, of course since Manila Messaging is so bugged out all the SMS / MMS is handled by WM.

I'm keeping up with 2.5 devs as much as possible, so when things like SMS & Footprints starts to work, rest assured I'll make every effort to include in ROM.

Also, any suggestions/requests gladly taken, no guarantees when/if they'll make it in, though.

Nice one! I was planning on getting that in this ROM... got a bit bogged down finding all the ingredients for the 28005 SYS (had to manually set up for VK), forgot to put it in.

It'll definitely go in next release...

Ha - yes, that confuses a lot of people. I just couldn't bring myself to get a 1/2 TP, and didn't want to use up my new every 2 just yet, so I bought an uncrippled TP off ebay and had the MEID added to Verizon by a very knowlegable & accomodating employee - though they're rare and hard to find, they do exist.

But looks like our (VZW customers) woes are coming to an end, seems as though Big Red is finally getting with the program and delivering kick-ass hardware. If only they came to PPCGeeks & XDA for ROM development!

Think I can talk that rep into going over to Sprint? It seems my upgrade date is some time in 2018 at this point. Sprint definitely has some customer service issues

hell does sprint have a policy like verizons (which they dont advertise) ever since i found out 3 moths ago i been taking advantage of this, vzw has to replace your phone if they have to replace more than three times2 reps have told me that and i got them to document in my files so vzw is aware i know of the policy,just 1 catch though,gotta be handled over the phone,no biggie though,my tp's have never given me any trouble, i just relock it download sktools and screw the reg. edit up and delete and return,phone wont work lol,and for anybody saying what im doing is messed up,just remember i payed more than most of you for half a tp compared to all other carriers, they @#$%^& me so its payback time,plus i have two lines and this way i can save the upgrade :mrgreen:

So far so good. Flashed this rom about 2 hours ago. No problems. Only thing I found, and it is a very minor and insignificant thing, is on the screen that pops up for each menu item when you use the slider the icons are way down on the bottom of the screen instead of in the center. Like I said, it's no big deal just thought I'd let u know. Otherwise it's fast and very usable for the day to day, i will report as the day goes on as far as stability. Thanks Lunacie, good job mate

does the manila 2.5 text messaging work? in all ways? like tapping the message on the messaging tab and going to the HTC text messaging instead of the windows mobile messaging...

The text messaging works well. The icon on the text page works, or menu>new works well. The contact picker allows you to enter a name and you can pick sms/email. Other builds I've used only allowed u to pick email. You CAN"T access text messaging from the contact tab, or I can't at least. The page is completely blank. U can access WinMo sms thru "all messages" in threaded view or menu>reply to access HTC sms. All in all it is pretty good
MMS worked right out the box. I've had issues with this prior to this rom. No disable/sr/arcsoft/sr required. I am very happy so far. Hope this helps

No landscape on Manila Sense 2.5... yet. There is a mod over at xda that can do it but I've been told it is unstable and mad buggy. Great idea and I think they will work it out but it's not there yet

ill be honest with ya,i was all about the empirom,but dude fell off the face of the earth and i get bored quick.
this rom,however,looks sweet and seems to be working just fine.if the batterylife is anything like the empirom,ill be here for the duration.

There are already a number of battery tweaks, including Lumos with a pre-defined profile.

I've found screen brightness to be the #1 offender for short battery life. Iv'e also got polling and other registry mods pre-cooked in, so we should be doing pretty well as far as that goes. But if you have some mods that you try out and they improve things, I'm always open for suggestions.
