MMS FIX!!!

so im on alltel and this is how i got pics to be full size
using a reg editor go in
HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/mm1
RecvSizeLimitType change from 1 to 0

once changed soft reset and then it will allow you to get full size pics instead of really small ones (i only tested by sending my self stuff while trying to fix the black square issue on the home sense screen)

I just tried a flashdance. I'll see if that worked. I did install slingplayer mobile, which seemed to work fine. I also recently installed a game cab file and I think that may have caused the problem. I'll test this out for awhile.

I serious suggest against this. The reason is some phone will not able to receive MMS over a certain size. So, people might have problem receiving your MMS. just a word of caution.

This has happened to me twice as well. just happened when I was charging my phone, it locked up so I hit the reset button and the system hard reset itself. I'm testing but not sure if its one of the software packages I'm installing or what.

i think the reg change i made receiving size changes what file it requests from the mms server being either the really small thumbnail or the real file. i had my friend send me a file last night from their phone and got a big picture with my change and small thumbnail size as the defaults.

i think the sending size limit what is going out of my phone is controled by the WAP1SendDefaultSize what is set to 512k (for all carriers) and the mms program checks file size and does not allow it to be sent if its above that. i cant verify this but it seems logical :P

i've been on the full 1/12 version since release and have been loving it.
But yesterday, I shutdown the phone (had no service where i was) and 5 hours later turned the phone back on.
It would not boot into sense 2.5 regardless of what i tried. I did a pimbackup on it and reflashed and the backup was bad and of course lost everything entered or changed since 1/12. However, the phone reflashed fine and is working fine today. I tried several things b4 reflashing including switching to the windows default and back to sense, soft reset etc.
Anyone else experience such a catastrophic failure?

28205-30 was broken and all buggy so i he removed it i think ( remember flashing it and reverting within 1 hr cause couldn't do much like call ppl and some other stuff was broken but it was fast haha)

Not sure - I just used EXT pacakges in my Kitchen - don't know where a cab of it might be. You should try doing a search on xda-developers

Yes the other gentleman was correct. Lunacie released a 28205-30 on I think it was 1/3 and then released 28205-30a on 1/6. Then on 1/7 he released 23518-32. I might be off on the dates just a little but I save copies of the roms on my computer incase I ever want to go back to a previous rom and those are the dates I saved those roms. :) The latest was the best rom imo.

I've been working on integrating Sense 2.5.2011, but there's some major incompatibilities (or something...) I'm bumping up against with 23518.

Also... I broke down & switched to Droid. My TP screen started delaminating, and I've been a Unix fan since waaaaay back, so I just couldn't resist.

So I probably won't be releasing anything more on WM (my HTC is no longer active on my number so can't test properly).

It's been great fun, and I thank you for your amazing support.

Ahh. Droid does take all the good cooks from the TP. XD its ok. my TP decided to not like me lastnight and its not working, (touch screen probs) so im going back to the Vogue with ANDROID!!

Yes, I'm going to really miss it around here - it's been superfun making ROMs. Hopefully I'll figure out how to root Android and then make neat stuff over there.

On a better note - I have an HTC Touch Pro Sprint model that is fully registered (legally, no loopholes) on the Verizon network that I'd be willing to sell if there is any interest.

I'll list it over in the bargain trader section of this forum in @ 2 hrs. If anyone's interested, check there to have a TP on Verizon with NO GIMPAGE!!!

Hi, complete noob here. I just picked up a Verizon HTC touch Pro. Would this LITE ROM be a good choice? I am not looking for something fancy: just stability, speed, GPS and battery life (in that order). I mostly use outlook email (exchange) and little web browsing.

so far your rom is the only one to integrate mms in the correct way with the sms program on the rom. the pictures show up in the threaded sms view and can be deleted, no other rom does this. How did you do it since you dont have the newest builds as energy roms does. i upgraded to his since the keyboard stopped working after a month but his mms just doesnt work and you have to uninstall it and reinstall a different version and then the pics dont thread they come up as a separate sms link under the phone number not even the name and cant be deleted. you should either make newer roms or share your info with energy since he is updating every couple of days and your the only one who knows how to do this.
