Damn... any other lite flahers? I need to know if rom not booting is a persistent or isolated problem.

Verizon user here, Tried the lite, and would not get past the "Please wait, phone starting up" screen :-(

Anybody try a smaller pp size? Maybe 12Meg is a little rambunctious?

yes i did,set it at 6 thats where i get my best results,issue lies deeper i believe

Ok - I've uploaded a new LITE build (same filename as last one), this should work just fine. Let me know how it goes!

My pleasure - keeping my fingers crossed. This ROM was way harder than I originally thought, removing packages without blowing dependencies proved to be a tedious process.

DL twice and used winrar and 7unzip and each time got the broken file error

I can confirm a corrupt file error using WinRar. How big is the actual nbh?

Upload is complete - hope this one's healthy. NBH is 143,063 KB.

Just downloaded and will not go beyond initial screen. NBH size of download is 143,063 as it should be. I have ran into this with other ROMS and have no idea why this happens. I set the pagepool to 6.

Some of Raidzero's roms did the same thing. He always thought it was a driver issue, he only had drivers for a sprint phone. I have only heard of this happening on a verizon phones so there must be something different with the VZW TPs.:spin: (besides the ram)

Just tried this one on my VZ TP and same issue, won't go past the boot screen.

Hope you can get it to work! Appreciate you looking out for us VZ gimped TP users! :)

This is definitely looking like a Verizon issue, as it boots just fine on my Sprint TP.

But what has me confused is that you're able to boot the regular ROM, which has the same SYS just way less external packages. I'll keep trying, but I'm stabbing in the dark as I don't have a VZW TP.

All I can do is add a package at a time back in until the ROM boots on a VZW TP. Man, what a cluster$%^*.

This kind of cr#p is exactly why I went through the mondo hassle of getting a Sprint TP to work on VZW...

Hey Lune, doesn't look like the manilla took when you compiled the ROM. Still shows the previous look to the Weather TAB with the temperature below the degree symbol and scrunched with the Hi/Low temps.

I'd still like to see the default 6.5 Lockscreen implemented rather then the 6.1 Lockscreen. I find it more convenient to slide to unlock as well as get a summary of SMS, eMails, Calls, etc.. rather then pushing the two buttons that 6.1 required. I know your thinking of using the Manila Mod one but hopefully you set it up so that it can be disabled and the default can be used.

Anyway, other then the Lite version issue your having, the 27 build appears to be pretty functional.

Oh, by the way, use the following REG for the Showcase install, it cleans it up by hiding the home icon rather then overlaying it on the time itself. Also puts the Close button on the right where most people are familiar wit hthe close button being.

V28008-24 loads with no problems. The only problem is that when the backlight goes off it soft resets.

Thanks, that should give Lune an idea of where to look, it's very possible that something changed between that version and the more recent versions to prevent it from fully booting up. It could also be the reason why the Lite version isn't working either.

At least it will give him a starting point to try and solve it. :)

It does help getting as much info as possible. I'm leaning towards an issue with the 28014 SYS, might jump back a notch to 2011 and see if that clears up some issues.

Thanks for the feedback - weather tab is definitely not your update, don't know why yet (should be!).

I'll add the regmods for showcase - was just doing that manually as I've only just started using it, but reg is better, for sure.

i have no idea about the lockscreen. I was assuming the lockscreen was 6.5, but perhaps that's a XIPkernel module from an older build that has been propagated, if you know a source for the newer modules I'd need to get hold of them.

Unfortunately, not yet. I've still been working on trying to get a functioning titanium only just to see where things stand. In the process of trying to build the OEMXipKernel from the TouchPro, to see if that's my issue. If I could get it to actually boot fully, then I could tell you whether it's just the modules you have from your version of the ROM, or if something else is going on. :/

I am able to use your kitchen that has the 28011 system with no problems.

Sorry suffering from a case of "romnesia" , forgot where I was. I am able to use Raidzero's kitchen with 28011.

I am not on the newest build, but is there an audio fix to make in-call volume higher? Is it fixed in the new ROM?

the website is still not working. takes a long time to load and cant download v28 yet.

I noticed some slowness on Mediafire yesterday, too, but after @ 10min it was working fine again. Guess everybody's streaming holiday vids or something...
