Just getting started cooking with this - think I've got an understanding but I'm just going to need a hand with a few things.

I liked the green highlights better, I know that was -somewhere- in this thread, but I want to get that restored... and a plain black background would be fine too.

Where in the kitchen are the start menu icons set? I don't like how they're all categorized, the big mess in the start menu worked a little bit better for me. I just can't seem to adapt to finding what I need in the categories.

edit the app.dat files in the EXT folders to change where they go in the start menu.

I think this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ements&page=84 post #833 has the menu enhancements that were green. I believe he posted that before he changed the color to blue. Just replace the one in your kichen with this one, or open it up and just exchange the color file with the one in your kitchen now.

That's great news. Hopefully RZ will have this new version cooked into tonight's kitchen. I wonder what he means by "fully ported now".. and what the other person meant when they said "works flawlessly". Seems to good to be true!

I just read that NRG posted a 2.5 ROM ladt night that mostly works.

23504 is not ready, I forgot I was messing with it. I had to do much more than normal, I guess what da-G usually does for us, it came in a chinese rom dump lol.. I did not expect it to work all the way. I will try the new 2.5.

23504 also sports new time bomb that is unable to patched as of now. Remember when I said that every night not everything in the kitchen would work because I may be in the middle of something? This is evidence of that.. and yes app.dat controls start menu positions, and oem_lang_0409\initflashfiles.dat also has some.. good luck
