ive been partial to DCD roms ever since i got my Mogul. i really like the speed of 6.1 over the aesthetics of 6.5 but i need htc router working.

does anyone know how to have ICS use DATA instead of Sprint for tethering?

It MUST be an issue with the new 6.5 builds, since this problem is almost non-existant on ROM 1.07 (from the changelog, it seems this was the last rOM using this build). I've been on 1.07 for at least 10 days now and its great, I just wish it was as polished as 2.03

Also, I just noticed in the changelog that DCD went back to the OS build used in 1.07 for 2.00, so I have no idea what the problem is.

I've seen this same thing on several ROMs too. It's like the phone just hangs for a bit, then comes back to life.

Now if I can just get a TP with a good keyboard. Just got my replacement refurb garbage yesterday and the keyboard is about to go out once again....arggghhhhh!!!!

I need to create a setup.dll that stops tmail.exe and poutlook.exe before overwriting thread_sms.htm and compose_sms.htm in order to properly cab the count removal. When that is done, the ROM default will be to include the count. I have no idea when I will have time to do this. In the meantime, I just removed it in the kitchen. It's not really how I want to do it, but was quick.

I will need to update the XT9 or ezinput cab to remove the current PIE mapping. XT9/EZInput restores the SYM button functionality, but the custom keypad driver is processing the keypress first.

I do not see this behavior at all, so I suspect it is a result of something you are installing. Or, maybe you are pulling in a bunch of text messages with pimbackup? Try without doing that.

It is unusably slow while loading my txt messages with PIMbackup. I soft reset after loading and let the txt message app sit until all the old messages are listed. Even after things stabilize, the problem is still there.

I will go systematically and see what I'm installing that could cause a problem. However, I ALWAYS install the same apps no matter what ROM and there is a definite difference when I stay at 1.07.

yes, like jakdillard said its an app that makes the phone into a pocket router. i use it to connect my ipod touch and laptop when im on the road.

when i go to internet sharing, it only gives me the option of using Sprint as a network connection, but other roms allow me to use DATA in addition to that. i really love the 0.95 ROM because of its speed and simplicity, but the router program is the one app that i use on a daily basis.

i have installed the Sprint carrier cab and tried installing ICSInstall.cabfrom a VZW thread but it doesnt install successfully =(

id almost guarantee thats your problem. install your apps but no pimbackup and see if it freezes, i'd bet it doesnt.

I don't do much texting, but I had a similar issue with PIMBACKUP. I started using MS Myphone for backups and I don't seem to have the problem anymore.

I thought of trying your rom but see no carrier cab for Cellular South.
In fact I have not seen on any forum much about Cellular South.
Are they a different animal or what?
I have Touch Pro cdma.

that had never been requested before. i will create one when i have time, maybe this weekend. in the meantime, you could just create a data connection manually.
