2.03 is the ****. Anybody have a cab or instructions on how to activate the sms count? This is the fastest keyboard ever, but I'm starting to get nagged about sending 2 sms when the 2nd sms only has 1 or 2 characters.

I need to create a setup.dll that stops tmail.exe and poutlook.exe before overwriting thread_sms.htm and compose_sms.htm in order to properly cab the count removal. When that is done, the ROM default will be to include the count. I have no idea when I will have time to do this. In the meantime, I just removed it in the kitchen. It's not really how I want to do it, but was quick.

I will need to update the XT9 or ezinput cab to remove the current PIE mapping. XT9/EZInput restores the SYM button functionality, but the custom keypad driver is processing the keypress first.

I do not see this behavior at all, so I suspect it is a result of something you are installing. Or, maybe you are pulling in a bunch of text messages with pimbackup? Try without doing that.

It is unusably slow while loading my txt messages with PIMbackup. I soft reset after loading and let the txt message app sit until all the old messages are listed. Even after things stabilize, the problem is still there.

I will go systematically and see what I'm installing that could cause a problem. However, I ALWAYS install the same apps no matter what ROM and there is a definite difference when I stay at 1.07.

id almost guarantee thats your problem. install your apps but no pimbackup and see if it freezes, i'd bet it doesnt.

I don't do much texting, but I had a similar issue with PIMBACKUP. I started using MS Myphone for backups and I don't seem to have the problem anymore.

Seems that the problem has gone away now. i used MS My phone as suggested to restore everything and used just the bare minimum cabs I need.

Donated again for a new device.... hopefully will get an opportunity to do the same for TP2.

Does anyone have a problem with DCDs EZinput cab not showing up correctly after installed? I'll bring up the keyboard and it will shift everything up to make room, but no actual keyboard comes up.
