Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)
Is anyone else having an issue with the 409 build, when pressing the Symbol button it doesn't give me the on screen list of symbols. I want to see if this is the rom or something with the keyboard config (Tarkim's from xda). When pressing Function+Symbol it takes me to IE (now remapped to opera beta) but the normal symbol function doesn't work.
Cheers, Celt

JD...I see there's a CDMA native 6.5 kernal being thrown around now...have you been using it or can we expect some more memory improvements from this?

I installed the HTC volume control cab, but nothing happens. How do you get the black screen volume control with the toggle for the phone and system at the top?

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)
Is there a way to load tf3d 2.1 on this rom without having to run the cab to install it? Ive tried the cab and it works but takes hours to install and im completely hopeless when it comes to editing a rom.

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)
I wanted to try out a ROM with the new native 6.5 kernel, so I gave Jmz's XOR ROM a tryout. I'm not a big fan of the customizations to the ROM, so I won't be using it long term, but the native 6.5 kernel does seem to make some noticeable improvements in performance. The biggest difference is that everything seems quite a bit smoother and more responsive.
JD, I've become a big fan of your clean ROMs and would love to see a new ROM cooked up with the native 6.5 kernel. Do you have anything in the works? |
