Edit: the HTC task manager did show up after a soft reset but it sits ontop of the clock in the title bar so you can use it but it's an eye sore.

YB I might be able to help out, I've played with Sac Warrior's 23025 build and ran across the same thing. Go to the start menu programs and see if you have a program called showcase settings. That is the task manager. There is a setting to hide it, but if you touch the time in the right hand corner it will pop up the task manager if there is something that is running. Sac's has the Picture and Music tabs in his, the favorite person tab doesn't work though. Also the Chome Configurator doesn't work but I installed another type called TitanCustomizer that seems to work. Hope this helps

the 23025 build is neat, takes a bit to get used to but seems like Micro Soft is heading in the right direction. There are a few other hiccups that I've come across but to be expected until more people play around with

I decided to venture back to the JD Roms, really not too big on bloatware that are thrown in other ROMs. m running your latest beta and must say it's pretty nice, rather buggy but still nice. I noticed there isn't a vibrate check box for messages in the sounds and notifications folder. Is there anyway we can enable this. Also I installed the HTC Taskmanger and now I have the box overlapping the digital clock in the top right hand corner. How could remove the digital clock from the top right hand corner and just have the taskmanager there?

the 23025 rom is pretty sweet, it's actually been alright for me, perhaps I'll see as the day goes on!

finally got some free time so i flashed to this and have a couple of things to report.

1. when changing the background the part of the picture at teh top is duplicated. also when going into the start menu the background you select only shows up at the top and bottom. the middle is still the default.

2. coming out of the lock screen seems pretty buggy. i received an sms while locked, so i unlocked the phone directly into the sms app, the sms popped up, i deleted it and closed out of the app but the bottom bar still read ok, send, KB, menu. the only button that responds is the KB button. hitting the home button fixes it.

3. the landscape KB, in 12# mode has an up arrow overlapping the 1/2 and 2/2 buttons.

4. from time to time after exiting an app and returning to teh home screen the d-pad is unresponsive. hitting the home button also fixes this. a dead giveaway is that the word "start" is not next to the windows logo and sometimes the upper pane is black and not the background pic.

5. i am still working on trying to find the task manager. i thought someone said that it overlapped the clock but i am not seeing it.

yeah 23025 is pretty buggy but alot of those issues are somewhat resolved in 23028 but they are headed in the right direction

JD are you using .net3.7 or .net3.5. I can't get pocketwit to work and it's been reported .net3.7 doesn't play nice with poketwit besides that I've gotten a hand on the new UI on 23025 a like the the direction it's going. JD are you going to give us a beta on 23028? If you do could you look into the task manager being available on the today screen, it would be very helpful.

I might put a a beta of 23028 but it will be clean as a matter of fact I stumbled on how to natively have the internet key point to IE instead of Opera so now Opera and streaming media will be removed I also figured out that I don't need a sip to have the hard keyboard symbols to work so ezinput is gone too but if a beta is what ya want I will have one maybe tonight or tommorow at the moment all of my focus is going toward my stable build which will be alot better

What exactly is new/different with that build?
