Re: How To unlock and flash with Video Walk Through!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a little help with flashing. I have downloaded over 10 roms (juicy 8, energy, Psyki, Silence, and others) and the Mighty is the only one I can get to load. I use winzip to unload the roms then click on the Custom RUU exe included with the rom. Ive noticed that this is where the roms are different, the Mighty does not have the zip icon next to it. So, I unzip the rom (not mighty, mighty just starts right up and loads onto my phone) and I get a list of items to choose from. I click on the custom RUU file and my computer (running Vista) asks if I want to allow this program to open and I click yes. Then the "allow" screen goes away but nothing updates.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure you are right clicking on the zip file and doing the extract all or extract here option FIRST? then open the ruu exe file

Re: How To unlock and flash with Video Walk Through!

Okay, the videos are great and they just about have me convinced to try. I have a question though. I've got a Verizon HTC Touch Pro. After the phone has been flashed, do I need to dial #228 and press 1 for programming to get the phone set up on the network, or will it still maintain that programming? If it matters, I plan on using the latest MightyRom w/ WinMo 6.5.

no need to dial *228. i have read one or 2 rare instances where someone said they needed too, but out of the other hundreds i've read about, it was not needed. you just flash it and it works like normal.
