I could not get a connection with activesync, or forcing the phone into bootloader adn running the RUU then.. Even SD card flashing would not work.. Always stuck at 0% when updating..

Then I took the advice posted in here and looked under Settings-USB Connection.. I simply unchecked "enable advanced networking features" under Activesync in USB Connection

Is there any additional step which is required to flash Au KDDI E30HT (Jpn) ?
And is flashing a new ROM will remove the carrier lock ?

there is no carrier lock on cdma models. unlocking the cdma touch pro is to allow you to change the rom (operating system, software) on your phone.
is yours the RAPH800 model? if you don't know, then click start-settings-system-device information, then click on the identity tab.

No carrier lock, that means we can use any operator ruim card?

The model is RAPH70000 (according xda-developers wiki)

i've never seen anyone on this site with your model phone. We only deal with RAPH800 and RAPH500 cdma touch pro's in this cdma section. Ours are not carrier locked and they dont use an ruim card.

What are the link he is talking about that wont work for a touch pro?
Im so new with this and I have no clue whats going on in these tutorials, maybe because im scared about bricking my phone.
But I would really like to switch my alltel touch pro to This rom. But Im terribly confused about so much. Does anyone mind walking me through this ??

the links in the youtube video are for the HTC Diamond. Just make sure you use instructions and roms that are in the CDMA touch pro section, and you'll be good to go.

ummm...this thread is for unlocking and flashing custom roms on the CDMA Touch Pro. T-Mobile is GSM.

does the .net framework get installed on the phone or just on the computer?
