First of all, thankyou DCD for another great rom. I was a big fan of your Titan roms.

I have some suggestions/issues:

I have one issue with 1.05. It seems that the USB disk drive program isn't as widely supported as it is with other roms. Windows wanted to restart to finish installing the new hardware (which of course is not a problem). However, I use my usb cord to plug my phone into the USB port on my stereo to listen to my music in my car and it comes up as 'device not supported.' I also sometimes use it to connect to other devices like DVD players and such and I bet I'll have similar issues. I don't know if anyone else over-uses the USB disk function like I do, so maybe I'm the only one who cares much.

Oh, and if your manilla cab were to have more cities for the weather tab, that would be nice for some of us rural folk. As is, the closest city listed for me is like 100 miles away. Thanks.

I have found a few possible issues. 1.02 ROM

1. The Task Manager cab from DCD's website randomly doesn't work. Seems like it is sketchy after a reboot.

2. I am using an Exchange 2007 server (possibly does this on pop mail too) and I can't just type in the email address in the "to" field. After selecting the correct address it locks the window up. I am also using DCD's EzInput and T9. It does this from both the SIP and hardware keyboard. If I select the addressee from the Contacts popup it works fine.

3. Occasionally data quits working and I have to manually "Connect" the dial up connection (Alltel). I am using an older Alltel CAB as I didn't see one on DCD's website under Touch Pro.

*EDIT*. 1.05 is up, testing it.

brand new telus HTC Touch Pro (warranty replacement).
Installed 1.05.
GPS lock takes ~45-80 seconds. Are all the GPS tweaks done on this rom or should I go try them?

actually I just read through this thread and looked up ppst2.01 in a different thread, installed the cab, activated teh ppst file in the windows directory, and now google maps aquires a lock in 10 seconds.

A Note about 1.05.

I loaded it last night...I use the explorer extensions and on 1.05, the font is bigger. Looks like it's attempting to be "finger friendly". Not my preference...I'm going back to 1.03...which was awesome.

I told you incorrectly. Youtube should not require anything else to be installed, except maybe fullscreenplayer, nobody really knows, and all threads regarding youtube are clutterred with misinformation.

It does not work on this ROM, and I have spent days trying to fix it. Don't hold your breath.

Since dcd is using the same sys as me, one small qwerk i had was youtube not connecting on my own personal rom.

I did the following and it worked;

start > settings > connections > wi-fi > network adapters

make sure all adapters are using "server assigned adress"

my remote ndis adapter was using another address which was hindering youtube from connecting.

quite weird.
