The anticipation is tremendous for NRGZ latest. I too suffer from a keyboard that works whenever it wants , My first TP keyboard died (no backlight, completely unresponsive) and Sprint replaced my whole TP. This time however, my keyboard works sometimes so I'm thinking software...??

Does it start/stop working when you slide it in and out or will it start and stop while it remains open. If it's only after it's been slid in and out, it might suggest a loose ribbon cable. Did you try the procedure mentioned a few posts back?

there is this cool keyboard(FINGER KEYBOARD V2.1). it is really great. i installed it and use and everything works great with this rom. it adds vibrate to key presses and has a bunch a languages and some cool color schemes. it supports vga, qvga, wvga, wqvga. if u don't know about it already check it out here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501122
