Is it just me, or is the Sense UI buggy on the latest ROM (March 24th)? I add a new quick link and the icon doesn't show up sometimes...shows up after a reboot. Also, when pressing a quick link, sometimes the app doesn't launch. Am using this ROM: Energy.HERMAN.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Mar.24.7z

Also, in my home screen, I chose to have 2 rows of quick links. The spacing between each row though is off by a bit if application title text is turned on.

Re: H|Mar 15|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸. Energy .¸¸.·´¯ 6.5|21916 / 6.5.X|29017 * Sense 2019

I'm currently using the March 15th Standard Energy ROM 21916 on a USCC Raphael. Is there anyway to improve the battery life? I only get 6-7 hours use even though it's in standby most of the time. I have tried all the options listed here FIXED – HTC Touch Pro Battery Life | FRAG THE PLANET as well as all the changes listed here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...rgy-rom-2.html

Email checking is set for once per hour, battery polling is set to 25000, data disconnect after 5 minutes without use, and Lumos is set to 2 for the low and 9 for the high. I noticed that when I installed and tried to use nueDynamicClock the processor speed and voltage do not show up so I don't think that is working correctly (can anyone verify this?).

I'm currently using Sprint 1.12.34F for the radio even though some have suggested the Telus one. Does it really make that big of difference on battery life? I have tried other rom's and they don't suffer from the same poor battery life but this is the fastest and most reliable rom I have found. Just need to increase the battery life. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Ok, I have searched everywhere with no luck. I have never been successfully able to use any bluetooth device aside from my headset on any release and was hoping for some direction. I am trying to use an OBD II bluetooth device and it will pair, but be disconnected immediatly. I have tried setting several com ports to the unit and most will associate properly. But at any point in time I try to connect to the device it says connection to device failed or passkey is wrong. I have verified the passkey and have tried several different devices. I cannot even connect to my computer bluetooth - only headsets. any thoughts?

Here's a link to the GSM FAQ, good battery tips in there. I have not updated to the latest ROM yet, but have never had the battery problems you're experiencing & have never done any special tricks.

Are you really on Alltel, or are you on Verizon? I'm using an Alltel TP on Verizon & the last Verizon radio works much better for me than any other.

Thanks for your help! I've actually tried all the recommendations that are listed and I've been using this rom for over two weeks now so I don't think it needs to "settle down" any more. I'm actually using a US Cellular Touch Pro on US Cellular's network. The Alltel you see in my signature is for a different phone.

I might have to try changing to the Verizon radio and see if that helps. I use the Sprint one because I tried all of them and it seems to give me the best performance. Can you tell me if nueDynamicClock works correctly on Energy's roms? Could you tell me what ROM you are using so I could try downgrading and see if that helps? Thanks.

I don't remember which ROM I'm using, something from last year, just got too busy to keep flashing. I've never tried the Dynamic Clock stuff. Although much of nue's stuff is great, most of it is very dated & no surprise if it doesn't work. I overclocked for a little while, but found it unstable.

Re: H|Mar 15|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸. Energy .¸¸.·´¯ 6.5|21916 / 6.5.X|29017 * Sense 2019

I'm using the Energy.HERMAN.28244.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Mar.01 ROM on my Sprint Touch Pro that I flashed earlier in March.

The only bug that i want to report has to do with operating the phone in the dark. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but when you make a call in the dark, say checking voicemail, as soon as you connect the screen goes blank so you hit the power button and I have about 1 second to do something on the screen like punch in my voicemail code and then it goes blank again. I think it has something to do with the light sensor near the ear microphone but I'm not sure. Is there any way to adjust the timing on this feature so that using the phone in the dark isn't so annoying?

I believe what you're describing is by design to keep you from accidentally pressing buttons with your ear. Try ICST.

Calculator Issue

First I'd like to say thanks - these ROMs are the only thing that lets me hold out for the next best thing! (every 3 months or so my phone starts to hang and I have to reload it - but it's always with something better! )

Has anyone had issues with the calculator in portrait mode? The numbers don't show up properly for some reason. This happened to me with both 24 Mar 29017 GTX and 29 Jan 29007 GTX. I'll try finding/reloading the cab and report back.

EDIT: Tried the VGA cab in this thread - worked like a charm!
