Are people happy with these new releases?

After max sense i dunno if i want to go back to regular sense... Lol

I hate to ask a stupid question, but what are the benefits of Max Sense over the Energy ROM? I think the Energy ROM looks nicer and is what's on my phone, but is there more functionality or stability with the Max Sense version?

I was in your boat for a while but I started having lockup problems with the Maxsense so I went back to the Cookie ROM. (see below for more detail)

Wellll... to me it was more like a totally different UI so it was refreshing but now I have setup Cookie to the point that it is very functional for me. Two main changes I made from prior setups are hidden tab bar and one row of quicklinks. First page of quicklinks are notifications and second page (not second row) are my utility programs. Main page also has my appointments and tasks with drop downs.

+1 for MaxSense, I like it too. There are other ROM's with MaxSense just in case Energy stops dev. of it... Just FYI.

I tried task 29, but it still freezes up all the time, I used to use the tank rom. and it was good and stable, but lacking features, If only this Rom stopped freezing all the time and the battery lasted longer, that would be good, and what is a flash dance? can i have the link? thanks

Flash dance is flashing phone back to stock ROM and then flashing phone to custom ROM, some people do this everytime they flash a new ROM

Of course, the day after I install the July 12 build a new one comes out. (Just giving you crap, I love the work you do!)

The biggest thing I want from this new build is the improved video drivers. Can I install those without having to go through the flashdance and getting teh new rom? If so, where would I get the cab?

Yes, XDA is more technical with lots more app/ROM development. Much if not most of what we enjoy here starts over there. Also, there is a lot of good info in that Raphael thread that is still applicable to our Hermans, so don't write it off completely.

You might be able to disable Sense to save some ram, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a great custom ROM. Not sure if the 21911 and/or Sense 2.1 builds would work better on your crippled Verizon TP. You could also try the last Titanium ROM & then maybe put SPB Mobile Shell on top.

I've been having some issues with the dialer on this ROM. I provisioned my phone to sprint, as well as installed the sprint carrier cab when that failed. In the corner of the dialer it actually says sprint, but when I try to dial the ##code# it doesn't do anything. I've searched this forum but haven't found anything related to my issue. Does anyone know why the codes may not be working? I need to go into my EPST settings :/

The ##code# requires a cab to be installed.. I too would like the cab to be reposted or linked to..

As for my WPA WiFi issue I resolved it by changing the channel on the AP and all is well now.. Quite strange seeing how it worked before and worked on other devices but whatever that fixed it..

Strangly, per mobilespeedtest.com I get 7761kbs on crickets mobile web/WAP but only 2200kbs on my 12mbs wifi. lol.. The only issue with my super speeds is the latency is +1.0secs on either vs my pc of 0.1.. Any ideas on improvments in the WAP/wifi area to improve the speed rather than bandwidth?
