K, I am having trouble doing this keyboard trick ever since it stopped half way through a text message i was typing. Am i doing this right?

-Slide open TP and hold space button, while holding space button reset it.
-Then close and turn on

So far I am having no luck with this. Can anyone try pointing me in the right direction. (yes i have hard reset a couple times, task29, and no, i'm not buying a new keyboard bc i know it can work.)

Thanks for the reply, but I've tried task29 and installing over stock ROMs. I still have the problem of not being able to answer the phone. I can answer it fine with stock ROMs. Anything else it could be?

I have had the same issue with various Energy ROMs for several months. The issue is intermittant. I don't know how to describe other than to say the slide-to-answer seems to freeze.

I've found that when this happens I can hit the "talk" button on the TP, then the home button, wait for the home screen to appear then the talk button one more time. If I can do this sequence quickly enough the call is answered.

I too have tried just about every manner of wiping/reinstalling the ROM that you can think of including task29. I've gotten used to dealing with the behavior.

I noted another post within this thread that suggested tweaking the data dialing string to resolve this behavior. Tried that to no avail.

Can anyone help with a cab file or something to set this lockscreen up on my TP without cookie.

I heard over on XDA Developers that NRZ28 has fried his laptop that he uses to cook the roms on... Donations will help him out right now, if you use Energy roms.
