Has the phone answering issue been fixed yet? I'm talking about the one many people have where the phone rings and it won't let you answer.

Re: |Aug 12|HERM| .¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-|Energy| 21911|23128 - 2.1/2.5/CHT/GTX/MaxSense

I decided to upgrade from one of the July releases to the Aug 12 Cookie, WOW. Facebook tab is actually usable now! Overall very quick, huge improvement over even the july releases.

Fireball: I had that issue with the july release where the slider would sometimes be hidden and shifted down. I took a few calls on the Aug 12, been fine so far. I noticed there is a new in call dialer app, maybe that helped?

Re: |Aug 12|HERM| .¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-|Energy| 21911|23128 - 2.1/2.5/CHT/GTX/MaxSense

HELP! I really like this ROM except for one big thing...everything associated with HTC messaging. Have tried everything I could find to disable it but can't seem to do it. Did the Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging.cab and still does not disble it.

Now, I would just like to completely uninstall it, not just disable it.

Please help, is this possible?

I also would like the default HTC dialer from stock sprint ROM 6.1 over the dialer on WM6.5? Anyway to go back?

The Aug12 is nice, but I still run across the slider shifted down issue or keypad button hidden under the bar at the bottom of the screen. Usually trying to make a couple of calls after that to my voicemail or a soft reset corrects the issue, but it is still there with Aug12 sorry to say.

Thanks, did try that. Our domain is either uc_admin or admin.ad.ucalgary.ca. Neither work. There's no specific certificate that i know of, at least none is required when i log on the the WIFI using the Win 6.5 default screens. It's just the TF Sense UI that doesn't want to connect.

Is there a CAB to get back to the previous version of the TF Sense UI on this current Energy build?

Hey Guys,
I wanted to convert my ROM from the Might Rom to this Energy rom. I downloaded the file, but the file shows up as Energy.HERMANN.23128.Titanium.AUG.12.7z. Can anyone guide me in the right direction as to what I'm supposed to do with this file? Am i supposed to change the extension?

Thanks

No, you do not need to change the extension. All you need to do is open the file with this program.

That will give you the actual files that you need to do the flash.

Re: |Aug 12|HERM| .¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-|Energy| 21911|23128 - 2.1/2.5/CHT/GTX/MaxSense

Question:

I've been using 21911.Sense2.5.Cookie.DinikGlass.Aug.12 and before that the 23128 version. At first it was working fine (and I loved it), but one day it crashed and when I tried to do the regular soft-reset, it froze at the boot screen. The only thing I could do was pull the battery and do a hard reset. However, ever since that day, it doesn't even last me a day until I encounter the same problem again (freezes at the boot screen), forcing me to again pull the battery and hard-reset. I "downgraded" to the more stable 21911, but it didn't really change or improve anything for me.

To rule out a potential hardware problem, I want to try and temporary switch back to a stock ROM, and I was wondering if I can just get the ROM from HTC's US support site and flash my phone using that without first "re-locking" my phone?
I just want to make sure I don't end up bricking the phone.

If anyone has any thoughts/ideas what could have gone wrong with my phone, I'm all ears. I'm more or less a newbie, and the size of the thread here is to say the least daunting.

Thanks in advance.

Go to the official HTC web site, select "Support", and select the Touch Pro (Sprint) dropdown, and download the latest Sprint rom. I don't use Task 29, I always flash this one and then flash Energy.
