does anyone have a problem with the slide out keyboard? mine doesn't type the ? mark it types the / just fine, i press function the green light comes on i press ?mark nothing.. green light goes off then. it knows im pressing it.

Thank you for the Standard Stock Sense ! ! ! I loved EnergyRom but hated the blue appearance because it didn't match the green keys on my Sprint Touch Pro . (Stupid reason not to get this ROM but it still stopped me) Now, I am DEFINETELY getting this ROM since i already know it's great and basically the only ROM that is really good and STILL gets updated

Tried those, no go. Did a little more research and found my problem.

It was actually two problems - first, the front buttons, which were fixed by re-flashing to stock.
For the keyboard, it turns out this model has a habit of the keyboard ribbon cable coming loose. Found a blog post, complete with pictures, on how to secure that, and that fixed my problem.

Here you go!

As a note, I found a cable in the middle of the keyboard with a push-on connector that had come off. The upper loose end just slipped over the lower part and pressed in place, no problem.

Also, on mine anyway, the keyboard could push up slightly from underneath by pressing in the battery compartment; the panel was loose, as if it was just inserted and held in by the keyboard. I didn't want to press hard, since I didn't know for sure what was going on, but it was enough to get a fingernail under the edge of the keyboard to slide around the edges to get it free.

Be very careful, though - there are a lot of small items and connectors here.

On your storage card if it doesn't already exist, create:
My Documents\My Pictures

In the reg change the value (DWORD Data) of:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General
"EnableDCMI" from "1" to "0"

Now when you start the camera:
tap the screen -> tap the cog wheel -> tap advanced
on page 2 make sure "Storage" is set to "Storage Card"
on page 4 make sure "Prefix" is set to "Date & Time"

You may need to soft reset after the reg change... and as always PLEASE be sure to BACKUP your reg BEFORE you mod it!

"VGA Raphael and Herman ROMs uploading" - Aug.19 (couple hour's into the 19th that is), nothing in downloads yet. Told ya. Sometimes it takes a couple day's before you see something from when news is posted. I think it's just something going on with Easy-Share or something. Wish he would go back to Hotfile like the rest of his rom's mostly. Never noticed this problem then. Or maybe he canceled the upload's for some reason.
