I believe I've seen this so many times...
for people having problems with receiving or sending mms..
but this is the same thing I must do...
use attached in this forum... remove picture mail and arcsoft.cab then install ur own arcsoft..

the swipe ur using, the landscape is off but bigger, just missing P and more.... I use VGA_Full_Swype-3.9.10.10.5032.

also missing winrar.. or rar..... just in case it was removed off ur kitchen accidently.. hmm

MSvoice if uncheck media.. it will load without error... that is if u preinstall that way..

yes I do know we can all install these cabs, which I do..

im using 061210 standard sense 2.5.. and installed the 1.7.0 cht..
I noticed the new cookie Home tab 1.8.0.... it runs slower while loading sense..

edit.. one more thing, all the new roms, my youtube only works wifi.. cant find videos dialing in.. I downloaded google youtube, but it pauses so much...

heyyyyyyy i installed the gtx version, dont remember the release... anyways i was on my phone went to hang up a call, and the screen never came on. After a soft reset my sense wont load, I've reset a dozen times already.

I dont want to reinstall the entire rom, because i dont feel like losing everything on there again, is there a way just to maybe re-install the sense? if this has been asked... i apologize.

On a given voicemail call, I'll have to unlock the phone 5 or 6 times over the duration of the call. Isn't there any way to keep the phone from locking during a call?

Another thing that I find annoying is the new SMS/MMS stuff. I used to be able to open up a received MMS from Sense, tap on the little attachment icon, and instantly view the attachment. Now for some reason it has to open up in another app first (the one with the hideous speech bubbles) and I have to tap on another icon to get it to open.

I have one more question... Why the downgrade to Opera 9.7? The last build that I used had version 10, which I thought had some nicer features.

long press of the 1 key, if you go to settings, personal, phone. is your number for your voicemail set?

The lock issue. Are you using the cookie lock or the one in the system folder, Lock Config? I also had issues with the cookie lock. After turning it off in cht editor and enabling lock config I have had no issues.

the hideous speech bubbles. Disable them by entering sense sms,menu, message option, then disable speech bubble.

the downgrade to opera 9.7 was explained by nrg on his twitter page as being more stable.

Yep. Funny thing is, if I go into the phone settings through the start menu, it's in there and set up right. But if I go to the settings through the menu within the phone app (where it says "Voice Mail and Text Message"), the box is blank, and if I enter my number in, it won't save it. I hit done and go back into that menu, and it's blank again. But it remains correct in the phone settings through the start menu.

Thanks. That helped. I like the look of the Manila style lock screen better, but it was pissing me off so much that I'm going to go this way until a solution arises for the other one.

I've actually done that already. The Sense SMS bubbles are gone, but they still show up in Arcsoft (and they're even uglier), which I have to go through in order to get MMS attachments.

the mms thing.
it doesn't work when you press the small icon on the right in sense?
It shows up as a blank message with a small icon that I have to click in order for it to come up. Is this different than what you are experiencing?

Hmmmm. Some things fixed, some un-fixed.

Couldn't open any emails or messages. Couldn't reply either. Nothing would happen when I tried.

There are some threads that deal with it. One was a regedit, another deleted the inbox files on the storage card. Neither really took care of it.

Thought it might have been the way I restored the messages from backup. I wiped and restored everything but messages, but that didn't fix it either.

So:
I jumped into the HERMAN 21905 Sense2.5 Cookie Dinik Glass Jun 12, and mail seems to be working.

Haven't tried everything else yet, but I have confidence.

Has anyone successfully gotten MMS (picture messaging) to work with EnergyRom on US Cellular with Sense 2.5? I've tried what I have found here with what was supposed to work but I haven't got it to work. I'm getting desperate, I love Sense 2.5 but I really miss MMS. I'll take any help I can get.

I just installed the june 12 23569 CHT/Dinik ROM- and it runs great, but my question is- has anyone figured out a way to have the weather animation play from the wallpaper? I know the May version of CHT you could just change it from the Home menu button, but in this version it doesn't give me that option, it just gives me options for landscape, portrait or wide. Any input or ideas regarding this issue is greatly appreciated- thank you in advance
