Page Pool changer says this is using a 6MB page pool...I've got a Sprint TP with the 288MB ram, so was considering 16 or 32 for page pool...would this improve speed in Manila 2.5 or should I leave it alone? I've heard a lot of mixed views on this...thanks!

i thought i read awhile back the NRG uses dynamic pagepool..and if thats correct then pagepool changer wouldnt do anything..can anyone confirm this? like i said, i dont bother with it but i do recall something being said before.

zone is right about that!! and you need to get cleanram or sktools ready as your go to app,also when net browsing to free up ram you need to go turn off sense before you launch opera or ect. so you can surf without low memory issues,been using these roms since i got my tp and you can get the free mb desired you have to just tweak it a bit

Well it does say 6MB in PP changer...doesn't specify dynamic or static as far as I can see...but I'm curious also. If it's dynamic, that's fine. I've just seen a lot of hype with 32MB drastically increasing speed. The ROM is already pretty quick...I was using 2.1 until just now, and anything to add a bit of umph is fine by me...

That said, anyone have preference for 2.1 over 2.5? It seems the majority of people go for 2.1, perhaps for the speed and stability, but 2.5 seems fine so far..

Change it to 32 at least in your own mind you will think its faster so it shall be. LOL. It wont hurt anything to change it. If it does start acting funny refllash no biggy.

Haha fair enough. TBH I prefer to leave everything as close to the original flash as possible...less to sift through if I start having problems. I'll try it for a week one way and if I don't like it - well, hopefully there will be an updated release soon anyways, and I'll be ready to flash again anyways!

Flashing over is no biggy at all, but I keep seeing people suggest "flash dancing"...

Not sure if that's a "just to be sure" measure or a necessity, but if it's required to ensure stable flash, it sure takes a long time...

Haven't used these ROM's in almost a month till today. I flashed 21889_HERMAN_18.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5 and I'm having the same issue I had over a month ago. Emails are in the sent folder and not being sent. Has this not been fixed yet?
