Yea, i recently flashed to the dec. 25th build and also had many issues. I am finally now READING...lol...through the forum and finding a couple of fixes for my issues. I was also experiencing those random hard resets, which, I have never experienced in all my times flashing since the xv6700!! So, I was ready to trash this rom and had been using the Dec. 17th rom, which for me is the most stable rom to date w/ the minor usual lil fixes that goes along but, no ones perfect! And NRG, I see you really must be having the time of your life!! Kudos man!! Live it up...cause yous gots some splainin to do!....Lol....j/k Well, here we go with round 20 of the Dec. 25th release.....ay yih yih flash dance, flash dance

does the dec 25th release have max manila 2.7 or an older one?

?? for all of you out here how do you hard reset the touch pro keys to press
to make sure iam doing ok and not half way thank you anyone ??

While the phone is off Hold the vol down key, power button, and center key all at the same time

Then a gray screen with blue text will come up and guide you through the process

Help guys, I am at my wits end but I have been having a problem trying to flash this rom to my Touch Pro. Everytime that I flash it over it will not boot up and repeatedly restarts itself. It doesnt get past the "TOUCH PRO" screen. The RED code at the bottom doesnt even pop up.

This is when I have to turn on the device and get back to the tricolor bootloader screen to load a different rom on so the phone actually works again. Can anyone explain what the problem might be?

I may already know what your problem is...In your header, it says that your phone is a raphael. That is GSM buddy. You just tried to flash a CDMA rom on a GSM phone, and THATS A NO GO!!! What you are experiencing is exactly what happens to ppls phones when they try and flash a rom NOT MADE for their phone. Do some reading man. This is not the forum you wanna be in. Try over at XDA-developers, as they do the GSM side of the touch pro roms. Hope this helped.

To answer your question, I'm not even really sure. I know that NRG himself has said that he cooked 2.7 in, but when I loaded the rom, it was more like 2.5, maybe even older. It still had the half dome on the bottom for the tab slider. So, I'm not too sure. I would hate to think NRG don't know what he talkin bout but, he cooks the best roms! So, maybe he just overlooked something or another. But, I just flash a standard sense 2.5 NRG rom, then install the Max Manila 2.7 cab. Can't ever go wrong that way.

Your ROM is AWESOME! Except for one thing...my volume buttons no longer work. Is it disabled somewhere? The taskbar volume icon does nothing either.... HELP?

filea56d7w: Use the search thread tool, look for "volume" without quotes, you'll find a post with a .dll to fix it.

Great rom!!! I had tried the EnergyROM before and thought it would drain my battery a little too fast... Still haven't had it long enough to find out but you sure do know how to pack features and fix most bugs/glitches.

Sorry if I didn't look thoroughly enough, there is two things I'd like to know:

-How can I edit the subfolder content? eg. Games | Internet | Tools
-Can I easily delete ROM integrated applications?

That would make sense but I have Sprint. The forum this is in is CDMA TP Upgrades which inquires that Sprint is a CDMA carrier phone right? So why then? Looks like there might be another problem. I am currently using Echomatics Haze 1.7 Rom build. I am sure that is CDMA cause when I try flashing this one over it gives me my problem to which I have to reflash back over to Haze to allow workability again.
