I believe its probably who ever is using Sprint as a network or modem for internet connection. I've been having the same issue,I can't download anything or even get a web page from hotfile.I've also tried a different browser and nothing.. it's not your link its hotfile and our connection..

Wait a minute. Is this locker only for Sense 2.5? I am running Energy with Sense 2.1.

EDIT: Removed all the files and registry keys manually. I'm pretty sure that it is for Sense 2.5 only. Whoops.

Moving along - any thoughts on why my Manila takes so long to startup and become responsive? Does anyone have in depth knowledge of what 2.1 does on startup that would be so intensive? Should I go post at XDA?

WinMo does it automatically...it puts up your next appointment on the lock screen.

download the Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging. that should fix it until a new rom is created.

And yeah I agree, the new interface is really nice, much better than the old SMS interface in Sense, can't wait till that conversation stuff is usuable.

But do you guys also get the -GSM tagged on every text you send? It's annoying to read that sometimes when I look through my texts and after reboot, I notice that the ones I receive also get -GSM behind them lol

Ok I did an experiment. I removed both POP3 accounts and Exchange sync. Manila is back to normal. Starts quickly and is responsive quickly.

So it is definitely related to e-mail and contacts, which likely points to the contact method aggregation function of TF3D 2.1. Am I going to just have to wait for a newer rom with hopefully a more optimized indexing/caching routine in Manila? Thoughts?
