I had never installed an Energy ROM before.

That is hands down the coolest set up job I have seen. The amount of skinning this thing has is insane.


Some feedback (Using the Dec21st version):

As someone mentioned the clock is flipping the numbers all over the place.

Nothing that can be really done about it but I just wish there was a version of that dialer without the slide to answer so that I could use my own slide to answer program.

SetSysTimeZone error is popping up.

One thing I noticed. The icon for new voice mails in the taskbar is just the stock white one and does not match the rest of the taskbar.

During calls the signal bars icon goes from 7 to 5 bars.

Also, I don't know what is going on but my battery is dying extremely fast. Does anybody else have this problem?
My data is on ALL the time. Maybe that's the culprit but I can't find what might be leaving it on.

I have not had any issues except the battery started draining alot after i was installing alot of manila test cabs.
This was on PRE- Dec17 build, and I 4get which since I been installing different windows/Linux environments for my laptop.

I am now on "EnergyROM_21885_HERMAN_17.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5_D usk.rar'

with zero-! -no issues (after mms flashdance) and very surprisingly excellent battery life on fresh install without playing too much with the manilla except putting the "Max "Manila 2.5 Ultimate -v2.6 beta_2.cab", which is my favorite.
Unit now runs cool when I have off, which I think is making the difference for the battery.

Having problems scrolling in Opera accurately.
I since flashed Dec version and it is better.

I flashed to 28014 and can't get my pic mail to work, says syncing messages. This usually isn't a concern but since it's Christmas time, I'm getting lots of pics. How do I fix this?

I didn't exactly mean "complaining," but you know what I meant.

I did it that way on 28014-2.5, and 21885-2.1.
When Under the Updates tab in Contacts, it will say like "40 contacts matched," and you just hit it and it shows you all the contacts matched.
It literally took like 10 seconds for that to pop up.

Nice ROM. Showed me that there are many things my HTC is capable of.
Unfortunately, I ran out of memory while using 2 apps concurrently. Tried to use footprints and after it brought up the camera, it decided to throw a out of memory error.

Don't give up, keep working on it, because, I think you will be able to get it running even better.

Im currently on NFSFAN, but i was using NRG rom 121709.. for 2 days this weekend... rock solid... the only problem i notice with the data being on alot, sometimes after i turn it off it goes back on, is the sense 2.5..
the weather location,
if the weather is having problem trying to connect to update, most of the time indoors. it will just stay on.. this will cause battery drain, i have to remove the show weather at my location... to fix that or soft reset.

You got that error, because you have the gimped version of the Touch Pro.

Turn off auto update on weather.

To install I unzipped the file on copied to the Windows folder then soft reset.

as a fellow vzw user you are gonna have to do some tweaking to not have that happen to you

I'm going to try this. I flashed in the December 21st "sense 2.1" 21885 ROM, and I REALLY like it, except that every time the phone sits idle and locks, I enter my pin to unlock it, and get the message "The file SetSysTimeZone cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file." I've also gotten this error when I soft reset the phone the first time it tries to load...

I'll run this program and let you know if it fixes it for me.
