Just curious why people want to have both analog and digital clocks on the screen at the same time. the screen looks so busy.

because ever user has different desires,looks,performance,ect. when it comes to pref. for their device,maxmanilla gives you multiple options for clocks,what you may find to be appealing another may find horrid,the beauty of it is we all get to make the screen look like the way we want it too,so as far as why.......i assume ppl like things a certain way

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for. The Max Manila Mod for 2.5 has a "hide the taskbar" feature, so you can completely hide the top and bottom bars on the screen. If you're asking for a way to make everything clear so everything is still in place and usable, just not visable...I don't think so, or this may require a manila modification from the Chef.

I wonder the same. I have both on my home screen and like the look of it...it's classy, or something. The Max MOd allows you to select from a number of clocks and combinations...you can display only one clock if you wish - analog or digital, large or compact size.

Do you know where I can download a Manila that has only small analog clock and none pre-configured push buttons on the Home screen?
Instead of the pre-configured buttons, I would like to have the reserved buttons so I can add my apps shortcuts.

Thanks ThreeFace. That's what I'm "almost" looking for, except the 4 pre-configured push buttons. I am wondering if it's possible to replace the 4 buttons with something else.

If you're talking about the 4 buttons for SMS and stuff, like in the above screen shots, those can be removed from the Max Mod in the settings area. If you flick up teh screen, just like now, we have the program quick links stil intact...only there are options for 16 or 20 shortcuts.

Check out the Max Mod Thread...it does everything you'd be looking for to customize Manila 2.5.

i know this was allready posted, and NRG is working on the fix....but i was all giddy about the new 28011. i flashed last night, was super impressed with everything, until this morning my boss calls and no caller ID, i was luck WTF, i have never had that problem with any other NRG roms, and was saddend to find that the dialer resizing issue had resurfaced..

does anyone know if NRG will be posting the new roms today.....

Here's what you want, right? Check my attached screen shots.

First is the standard screen with the mod installed. Second one shows the home screen with the top and bottom bars hidden. Third is what you see when you flip the screen up to expose the shortcuts [sorry they're not all configured, but you can see whats up].

You can toggle the full screen view by clicking just above the clock and below the top bar ...like where it says "ology" in "doom technology". It's a very cool customization you can do on the fly.
