I dont know the landscape sms isn't working out too well I dont have a send button in landscape. I think I'm going back I don't see any advantages and the sms seems worse.

If you can text while in landscape, just switch it back to portrait and you can send that way.

Well now I know I'm not the only one.

Dudes. I would recommend using the ROM for a little bit and trying to really work through whatever issues you're coming across before posting them or you're going to confuse new users.

I'm on the Dec2 21877.

SMS works fine "as is" out of the box. I installed nothing. I don't know how long these test texts are taking you guys to send/receive when you say "slow", but I didn't notice any delay and have seen texts take hours to be delivered. My test texts were to myself, my girlfriend, sending from the web to my phone...starting new messages in all areas of texting and replying to a recieved text.

The landscape issue comes into play when you're replying to a threaded conversation. So, you'll need to use the onscreen for this.

MMS will likely need to be set up using one of the old methods, installing arcsoft. I don't really use or need MMS, so I've yet to set it up.

When I get through looking at the new ROM, I'll post anything significant.

Could you let us know if Bing, Google Maps, and Opera 10 beta 2 all are updated in the Dec 2 ROMs based on updates to these yesterday?
