Hardly, just seeing what else is out there. nrgz is Da Shiz in my book and will always be. Like Three said, if he's servin'-I'm eatin'! (Three was probably a bit more well spoken than that )
I flashed my first ROM with Energy and never had a reason to look elsewhere. Did feel a bit biased calling it "the best" when I hadnt tried any others. Now I can call myself a more well rounded geek and feel better when I gush over nrgz work.
Thanks for your concern, I ain't going anywhere

I was on 23088 and it was perfect , from Sense. If I sent from MS Messaging there was a delay that would eventually go through. I really like the HTC Messaging so I didnt consider it a problem. What issue are you having?
Ring tones and no sound with entries calls and sms

OK, so does that mean you're all good on the SMS ?
For you on 21864 I'd try two options, First go to Settings Tab in Sense and click on Sounds and Display. Scroll down to Rings and Notifications. Now depending on which port of manila 2.5 you are on you may see Pocket Mode and Quiet Ring On Pick Up. If you have both of these options, select BOTH. If ringer isnt back soft reset. If ringer STILL isnt back or fails again or you dont have both buttons try this fix:

This seemed to work for me and others. Good luck.

Without knowing more this is a bit of a guess but a different radio may help you.
Aw curse me for not remembering who I was talking to!

I used stock Sprint ROM since I bought the phone last October. Over a month ago, I decided it was time to try out EnergyROM. I'm currently using Build 23016 NRGZ28. My radio version is 1.03.15F. Before I switched to EnergyROM, I updated the radio independently to Telus 1.04.05V.

So, it looks like maybe I should change my radio back to Telus and I'll experience better GPS coordinates? Or maybe I should just update to the latest stable NRG ROM and *then* update my radio.

Your advice is welcomed.

if you did the flash dance before you flashed to nrgz rom then it put the stock radio back on,so yes then you would have to flash the radio again, also the radio is just something some ppl have to play around with till they find the one that gives them the best signal ect.,if the Telus 1.04.05v. is one you were happy with then yes i would try it again, but if you decide to flash the most current nrg rom i would wait till after you flash the rom before flashing the new radio

I saw a number of replies to your question. I noticed nobody mentioned that if you open the task manager and click the settings (wrench icon) you can specify to either click x to close, or click and hold x to close apps. Also If you don't like any of this you can always try out a different 3rd party task manager.

num5kull got got it so I'll just back them up. Yes, if your radio is different then that could explain both MY Location and GPS issues. Def try that first before flashing a whole ROM. As far as a new ROM goes there's chatter that something is coming our way so you may get you chance at a new ROM anyway. But def do the radio first.
Good luck.
