Testing it now.
So far so good.

Much smoother animation now it seems.

Don't freak out if it takes a few seconds for the clock to show anything but 0:00 at first.

EDIT: nevermind; the manila file, once placed in Windows (no need to overwrite as it's not there) works perfectly. I've attached it for anyone that is running Manila 2.1.

I had this problem too when I first flashed to this ROM. I noticed it happened when I turned off Sense and turned on windows default. That seemed to have a very bad affect on my ability to send SMS. However, after turning Sense back on AND soft resetting my SMS resumed working. Was able to duplicate this twice after hard resets.

...a quick tip. Our radios have three number sets, gsm's have four...someone can correct me if I'm wrong. "1.12.34" vs. "1.17.25.09". Do not flash a gsm radio.

Using your experimental registry entries actually *removes* that option.

What's the name of the tab where you're seeing "Network Service", does it say "GSM" or "CDMA"?

The reg edits I posted would do nothing more than hide the GSM Services Page from displaying and instead display the CDMA Services...which is what we'd use on our device.

If the CDMA Network Service option is available to you, what build are you runnning? ...and how did you access the option?

...but it does cause the random freeze up. It's sad, because I love and have always recommended S2U2, but since I uninstalled it recently, I haven't had any blank-screen type freeze ups.

Has anyone had problems with the ringers not working or SMS not sending properly with the 23504 2.5 build with Sense disabled and only running Titanium? I saw an earlier post from someone about SMS not working properly, but was wondering if that was an isolated incident. No one has mentioned ringers not working running Titanium...
