You beat me to it! But I agree 150% with you. I wish mods could warn people who don't search. Someone posted about creating an issues wiki or something like that. Something organized where we can post issues, and maybe a way where people could vote on which issues they have so we could see how commonplace they are. Maybe even a phonewide wiki that NRG could visit and see which issues are plaguing users the most. One for the Touch Pro, one for the Fuze, one for the TP2, etc. It'd also be a good place to post the changelogs for the different roms.

I guess it kinda sounds like I'm asking for a whole new forum but that's not the case. Maybe Threefaces, Rootlinux, and Winmonewbie could all collaborate on something. Maybe some others too, but those are the ones that have helped me the most. Just throwing out ideas here. What do you guys think?

How many of us seriously USE landscape that much?
I almost never do.

When I do it is just in Opera and some text or email and it still works in those apps and many other apps if you set them up right.

What is the big deal about LANDSCAPE?
These ROMS are the BEST PERIOD!
Anything you want to do they do if you take the time to read and learn what you are doing with the rom.

If reading isn't not something you want to do then I suggest going back to stock because everything works great there... right?

You need the usual, turn off sense - SR - make your changes or KEEP MY TONES - then turn on sense

It won't make it stick, but at least you get it back momentarily until you have to do it again.

No problem it's just you are the 15th person to pop on and ask about Landscape. Manila 2.5 comes from the Leo which has no external keyboard therefore, no landscape. Also the port is beta but thanks to NRG are seeing some amazing results already.

for ringtones, what i did was

use mp3 trimmer, trim the file, and set it as your default.

seems to work perfectly, my oj da juiceman ringtone works well

The offence came from words like AWFUL and "this rom needs serious work"
This rom is the best and NRG puts a lot of work into making them the best for us.

We tend to take offence at people talking them down.
These are made free of charge and they take A LOT of time to make so cut the Chef some slack and just read the fixes because 9 times out of 10 we have fixes.

I feel your pain. I had a moment trying to figure out the different builds. Kinda asked the same thing and got mugged as well. It s not you. I had to flash all the ROMs to see what was up, it was the only with with out being bashed buy like 5 people. I do understand were there coming from because its the same questions over and over. It might help if the 1 post was updated.

I personally don't see why so many people went after you after what I read. I do not come one here more than 1-2 a week. and the thread can grow, 100 pages or more in a week. Searching does help but it is not great it is easy to over look stuff. People NEED to realize that not all of us are as hardcore and stay up until "4am" waiting for a possible release or to update our phones refreshing the thread every minute. SOME people seem to need a life besides their Touch Pro. A life that requires a phone to have a working ringer...
