Here is somthing for you all to try that are upset about the lose of landscape.
Setup the keys for txt and email with the fix posted in my thread.

Slide the keyboard open then hit txt or email key.
See if you can then email and text in landscape.

So if Opera, text and email work in landscape.... what else do you need?

Well, I think that NO MATTER what some people are just not going to be happy. This rom is a test with 2.5 in it and its just that.......it is what it is all.

Over time the kinks and bugs will get fixed and worked out. But, with that said. It is NOT a rom to use(w/2.5)if you love your landscape.

This rom shouldn't really be.....if you know what I mean? Im just happy to be getting what I am.

Now I said 12 Tabs in that post but now with the latest versions of the mod we can see 16-20 tabs. With the 2.2 version I have Full Screen working as well as 16 tabs which is plenty. This'll all make more sense after if you get the mod up and running. Read back the last couple of pages, it's been discussed all day-er well all yesterday.

Something else for fyi.
Here is what I did and tested and it works great.
I opened the keyboard config and added a new key.
Clicked the checkbox to combine with fn key.
hit P on the hard keyboard and then aimed the link to Palringo.
Now when I slide out the keyboard and hit FN and P Palringo starts in landscape.
Works perfect.

Any apps you want in landscape, just map them to a FN + whatever key that doesn't use the FN key already.

Does anyone kinda miss the old contacts tab? I liked having the contacts where all the buttons were under there instead of just setting it up to where you have to click the contact, then click what you want to do. I liked being able to look up John Doe and hit email and it would take me to my email or hit text under Jane Q. Any way to get that back?
