Try removing your SD card, then flash, sometimes that helps.



Stay in your current Energy ROM and just flash some radios, also run through all the GPS programs (agps, quick gps) cooked in and see if they help. Never had the problem but that has fixed it before.

Okay so I should go back to Oct 25 rom, apply the freeze fix and then start going through different radios. Is this correct? I am on stock right now..

First, check GPS in stock ROM if working then flash Energy, it should work immediately post flash-it's one of the first things I check before any mods
If not working in stock, try some radios as long as you are unlocked. If it's still not working in stock,I'd re-lock and bring it in.
If you flash energy (hard reset at least once after the flash) and it doesnt work then run through the GPS programs that are cooked in. Start there, then let us know.

I have done a lot of flashing with this and my old Titan and even my old 6700... I cannot for the life of me get MMS working on this rom. I've flash to Psyski - Works perfect... More precisely, here is what happens - when i send a MMS message, it apears to start sending, icon comes up ect. but the sending icon stays at the top, progress never makes it past 0, and it never does send. No errors at all. It will go away on a soft reset.

Settings below for server:

Gateway - blank
port - 80
server address - http://mms.vtext.com/servlet/mms (got this from the ROM that works)
WAP - 2.0

Order of what I am doing:

1) wipe
2) flash rom
3) run picturemail/arcsoft uninstall cab (soft reset)
4) run dcd verizon carrier cab (soft reset)
5) install dcd Arcsoft MMS 5.2.0.22 VGA.cab (I install this on Psyki works fine), soft reset
6) *228 (1)
7) choose verizon for server, manually adjust settings because still in correct

no worky... I know i have something wrong, i just cannot find the answer... help lol

what build are you on? 23081, i too cant get MMS to send or receive on 23081, but can on 21864

Good New I flashed Sprint radio 4th attempt, and I have gps again. so I will flash energy rom oct 25th and then apply the freeze fix. will let you all know.

Alright then, successfully running on OCT 25 build, GPS works with TOMTOM 7 and Google maps. Quickgps updated thru activesync and GPS still working. I am using the sprint radio at this time. I have NOT installed the "freeze fix" as it has not frozen yet for me. Will keep you all updated. Was a frustrating day. Strange things are occuring in the windows mobile world.

Sweet! glad you got it! The freeze, for the most part, is with messaging, almost everyone has it to some degree. I personally only saw it with MMS and SMS (but I had to TRY to make it happen with SMS). I'd send a pic, it'd go through, but when I tried to exit the album the system would crash. Other saw it in MS SMS/email esp when in an Inbox and quickly selecting then exiting different messages. Have fun testing.
