tap and hold windows key to launch task manager. tap and hold X to close. tap to minimize. this cooked vdersion works fine the contol pannel install is just another way to muck things up.

Sorry in advance for being a useless newb but after browsing through this forums I found a couple of things about the hardware keyboard issues. I don't have a problem re-mapping the sms and email buttons but my issue has to do with the function related buttons not falling on the top row such as ? and '. Can somebody reply or send me a pm how they fixed this? Thanks in advance.

No apologies needed, we all had to start somewhere. From one noob to another-do you know how to search the threads attatched files? Go to the top of this page and click CDMA TP Upgrades, then find this thread again. Click on the little paperclip icon off on the right. This brings up every file ever posted in this thread. You want Juicy47 Western EZinput, click on it to download. Lemme know if you cant find it.

Edit-BTW-it'll change your on screen keyboard as it's a different one but for some weird reason it fixes the hard keyboard issue.

Yeah, I love this ROM. The bottom bar is beautiful and I really love the layout of many things in it. Small things for me make a big difference like the look of the XT9 for names when you put in the receiver of a text. I've had a lot of freezes though and hard keyboard problems with the FN button among other things. I was out all of tonight and it just didn't feel reliable or stable enough for me. At one point I even had to take my stylus out and pop the reset button when I was simply trying to load my texts. I'm gonna flash the other ROM.

Funny we're doing the Flash Flip Flop. I've been on '864 and it's the rock solid Energy we all know and love. I'm mid-flash right now on '071 just to see what all the hype is about. Enjoy!

I flashed 071 and it seem to work fine off bat, but now it keep loading something constantly and nothing happens... I'm flashing to 864 just because I use my phone daily and can not have that happening all the time... it is nice though as far as layout and features added...
