It runs better for me without PIMP and with NRG stock album.

Everything stock ROM with a prior flash back to stock ROM before upgrade to NRG's. Fortunately I don't use this WM app very much other than changing wallpapers...thank goodness! lol I remember others having the same problems maybe a couple of months back. I will continue searching for the answer. Thanks root

The other 2 I tried were not prone to lockups and I ran them longer than this one. Guess it's just a "feature" of all flavors of M$ software. I'll give it some more testing, but if it keeps up I'll go back to a different ROM (Biz phone or I'd play more). Maybe there'll be a new release by the end of the week. I'd hate to lose the coolness factor of the NRG icons and such.

When will this ROM be Carrier Generic? because it looks like its for Sprint cuz MMS in registry is locked down to Sprint & cant be changed to any other provider the MMS services dont activate nor does the data connection come on when sending a MMS.

Chef quote: "This ROM is a generic CDMA build and "data" is already preconfigured. It has been reported to work fine on Sprint, VZW, Altel and I believe even Cricket devices."

Read Threefaces guide on setting up MMS. Click "THIS" in my sig or find the link in his sig.
There may be more steps involved for your carrier.

search for arcsoft(carrier) and it will work. unless u have another device to get your settings from.

Edit: Just to clarify, I dont know if the other PIM back up caused your issues. It sounds like all of your data wasn't cleared from the previous ROM. So if the hard reset didnt help you could be looking at a reflash. Lemme know, post or PM

I hated to do a hard reset but all is well now. Thanks for the help. BTW, is there an easier way to reinstall all the apps i prefer? Possibly one that will automate the process of selecting files i want to reinstall?
