I can totally tell where you guys are coming from, I help out with computer problems on a different site and see the same stuff repeated over and over again. But sometimes I have to remember that these people are here asking these questions for a reason. Sometimes I will do searches on here and not find anything and then I will ask somebody and they will know in a second. So I believe it can be reduced but we must have patience at the same time.

Sorry if I ask a question that has been asked but over 8000 posts and I forget what I read 4000 posts back. LOL

The album doesn't rotate and I for the life of me can't remember when it stopped. :/
All screen rotation apps garble the pics.
The menu in the album will rotate but not the pic.
Is that normal?

Great stuff and love the 2.1 rom.
This is by far my favorite rom.
Mystery, Mighty and Juicy are close though.

"afternoon version" is looking like its going to turn into the "evening version"
awesome rom. i just started using lumos with the aug 6 version and ive noticed my battery life gone up dramatically.. from 8 hours on a full charge to at least 15+ hours. i mostly use my phone to text and call.. so for me turning the phone backlight on and off a lot was my main issue. hope that helps anyone deciding to install lumos

Apparently nobody has read "ThreeFaces" guide on how to set up this ROM. He gives detailed instructions on how to set up the weather for a custom city. It took me 10 mins.

The problem may not be searching but the lack of knowing how to search by some.
I used to mod, admin forums and co own one as well.
I understand your grief and frustration.

Have to understand the scale of this thread though. LOL
NRG has a rocking ROm and this thread shows it.

So while reading repeat questions is frustrating it also means that this rom is getting a lot of new users.

I would suggest a separate thread for info and another for questions at this point.

Repeat questions need only be directed to that thread or post if someone wishes to help.
Other wise they can read.

Sure it seems odd but honestly it is getting hard to go though the questions just to find the answers.

I can verify that all that rootlinux said are bugs on my phone as well.

I can probably guess that the problem lies withing the porting of manilla 2.1 and will be fixed in later versions.

All i can reccomend is that if these things are that important, and i agree that they are that you go to the source and post on the original thread for the creator of the port and see what people say about the issue, it could very well be in the works!

A great little "Instruction book" he put together. Really well done and should definitely be read by anyone who is "new" to this ROM even if they are not new to flashing.
