Is it possible to re-enable the Sense SMS in the jan 18th Rom? And what are the repercussions of doing so?

anyone running the 1/18 2.1 21889 rom having problems with the keypad to the dialer? When I go to make a call and then hit keypad, it takes me to the today screen... so I can't enter my passcode to get my voicemail, or enter an extension number.

I'm seeing the exact same problem on the 21889 January 18 ROM, also with PocketPutty. I tried the default Tahoma font as well as the Courier New font, and different encodings and terminal settings, but no luck. PocketPutty worked fine with the December 17 EnergyROM build, so the culprit is a recent change.

Anyone have a solution (besides installing a different app) for a wayward Twitter tab on Jan 18th 21889 2.5 Sense? I can view incoming tweets, but can't reply or post updates because the sip option has vanished and the keyboard won't input text (only for Twitter AFAIK).

EDIT: eventually got it to work with Swipe. Had to cycle through all of my SIPs in Settings and do a few resets, and the tab finally let me input text. Oddly, the keyboard works now as well.

Anyone change NRGz alarm clock/call history/calendar icons back to original in 2.1 sense? Also I have an issue were when I click on an internet favorite it loads opera 10 and its bookmark page. Is there a way to set it to either load IE or not load the bookmark page?

I tested voicemail and my bank phone #'s after I saw your post, and no problems here switching from Call Status to the Dialer and back and forth. I tried several times and made sure to use voicemail to see if that was the culprit. So sorry, must be something else...

Running 21889 Sense 2.1 like you, 1/18 build. Hope you figure something out!

Havn't seen a fix as yet...

on the taskbar... The in call icon (phone with bars)... Comes on randomly when im not in a call.

Trips me out everytime as i do not want ppl to hear my convos lol.
