Looks like Dec 21 28014 standard is up and waiting to be tested out.

Just flashed the new sense 2.1 rom and it works pretty good so far. Trying to log into facebook with the account manager doesn't work, but who cares. With that being said, this rom makes me realize how much i prefer the way 2.5 looks over 2.1.
I hate 2.1's people tab and email tab. And i hate how i have to re-link all my contacts to their facebook accounts. On 2.5 all i had to do was log in and they would link automatically.
On the positive side, I like being back with the good old 2.1 messaging app. 2.5's messaging is an unfinished buggy disaster. The weather animations on the home screen are much smoother.
All in all, for those of you using manilla 2.1, i recommend the upgrade to Sense 2.1 if you like the weather clock. Otherwise it's not worth it. I still prefer Sense 2.5.

Does Sense 2.1 include the Twitter tab or no?

EDIT: It doesn't.

This is what's holding me back from flashing 2.1.
There is also the option of the Programs list, but I think this is a lot more functional.
I want this mainly so I could install a Twitter app and access it easily.
Or if someone could just port HTC Peep to 2.1, that would be great also, lol.

Just too many options now. The only issue I see is that the ice building up on the clock is off. This is because the clock was bigger in 2.5. I've seen this issue in other clocks as well. Like the dusk clock the ice builds up about a 1/16 above the clock. This is strictly cosmetic and does not effect the phone. The facebook seems to work fine for me I was able to log in with out issues and it found all of my friends no problem. Also the calendar tab doesn't show the actual date like 2.5 does. So now the question which ROM do I use? The landscape wasn't an issues for me in 2.5. With that said since it works on 2.1 makes me want to use it. What I don't like is the old style people tab. What I do like is its faster. SO i'm up in the air with this phone. Which way do you go? I really like the Xmas 2.5.

the twitter tab is what is holding me back, but i AM taking the plunge now. 2.1 sense here i come! anyone have ANY idea if Kamils compact manila/home work with this?

Or a better way to access your favorite twitter client.
