The weirdest dang thing. I had yesterday's build installed and had added my favorite contacts in TF. Now I just finished flashing to stock and back to today's build and I'll be if my favorite contacts wasn't already inserted. Freakin cool! Nope I didn't do or use anything special. Only thing I've done is setup my email with exchange.

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!! That's the only reason I've been holding off from running this ROM. I love 2.5 and NRG's ROMs are great, but F'in A! I hate that clock! Thanks so much!

Not cool IMO. It may mean that everything wasnt erased, reset correctly.
I'm guessing you didnt follow the dance exactly:

Hard reset current ROM, flash stock, HR, Flash custom, HR.

Not saying you have to start over but you may have issues, keep it in mind. Maybe you got lucky-go play the lotto, just in case

My TF mail previews changed too? They are no longer in envelopes.. Winmonewbie not sure but yes could be possible I guess. I flashed straight to stock, then hard reset, then flashed to today's, and hard reset on last time. Idunno but I like it. lol

Actually, Manila 2.5 tags each of your favorite contacts using the 'HTC Favorite' category. So as long as you synced/ran backup/whatever before you flashed, Manila 2.5 should remember your favorites from flash to flash without any effort on your part.

It's probably not that something didn't get overwritten, it'd be pretty hard to believe that after flashing to stock and flashing back to the new ROM that something that would affect the favorites would remain. It's probably the category TF3D 2.5 assigns to the contacts set as favorites, "HTC Favorite". Once he sync'd his contacts back from his Exchange server, TF3D saw the category on the contacts and there ya go.
