Why are you even complaining about an issue that has been so extensively discussed? Have you even researched others threaded Forums on the topic? Most people who own a PPC especially HTC brand are aware this issue goes beyond the simple diversity of ROMs and there is no permanent solution for it yet unless HTC manufacturer would devise something more concrete. So, my advice to your concern is called car chargers, wall chargers and to make it even more convenient for you there is emergency chargers that run on a single AA battery and deliver up to 45 minutes worth of power Juice. Energy ROM builder can`t really do much about it. Crab yourself one of those alternative means and do what most people are called to do in life when facing complicated issues and that my friend is stop whining and COPE with normal inconveniences, because there is no such thing yet as perfection in the electronics world.

By the way, Thanks NRGZ for delivering another great ROM, not perfect but great. You always exceed my expectations of a great performing ROM should be like, and I believe many on here would agree with me.

Re: |HERM|6.5|ROM|WWE| ** EnergyROM 3.0 'Phoenix' (21812) ** || Build date 61209 ||

I wanted to see if anyone else was running into any similar issues. First off...perfect ROM. I really haven't run into any bugs on the 6-12 build, aside from the Facebook stuff, but I didn't even attempt to apply the fixes for that since everything else "out of the box" was so glorious.

The only issue I seem to be having is random hard-resets, or lock ups that will not break until a hard reset is performed. This issue started first on the June 9 ROM and followed me to the June 12th. I tried a number of experiments to see what could be triggering the problem and haven't figured anything out yet. [i.e. installing my customizations and preferred apps; reflashing and installing only customizations no apps; reflashing and leaving the ROM untouched.]

Yesterday, for example, everything was working perfectly. I went to an appointment using Sprint Nav...after 20-25 minutes, the device froze. I did a soft reset and the ROM start up configuration utility ran [as if I had just hard reset].

I'm going to reflash the June 13th build now and keep an eye out. I just wanted to bring it up in case there were any others who may have encountered the problem. Feature wise, the ROM is flawless in my opinion. I just need to figure out the lockup problem.

If there's any insight, that'd be greatly appreciated...otherwise, I'll keep trying things on my end. The ROM is too awesome.

Honestly, incedible job!

Re: |HERM|6.5|ROM|WWE| ** EnergyROM 3.0 'Phoenix' (21812) ** || Build date 61209 ||

Soon after my reply I actually noticed the box's were separate in the comm manager and that as soon as you bookmark something the push page's work....doh!!!....And yeah I can get yahoo and hotmail accounts to work as it seems maybe their server settings are stored in the program, I never paid attention to see if it attempts a data call to retrieve the settings but i do know the stock ROM would lookup the settings via the internet. Also a bit curious is the Sprint TeleNav program is out of date and when I try to upgrade it, it will open IE and load a page but never downlaod a cab file, so i copy the link and try it in opera, which from there it says my device is not supported.. Any suggestions?

Re: |HERM|6.5|ROM|WWE| ** EnergyROM 3.0 'Phoenix' (21812) ** || Build date 61209 ||

I was able to resolve the Sprint Navigation issue by uploading a v2.1.7 cab from the Diamond. For whatever reason, the version in the ROM didn't display the Turn Arrow indicators and prompted me to upgrade every time I started it up. I got curious and installed a cab version of 2.1.7 and the update prompt went away and the turn indicators came back. Seemed to fix everything.

I did, however, end up with two versions of Sprint Nav on the device. I hoped the new install would rewrite the old, but it didn't. ...I also couldn't figure out how to uninstall the old one. [maybe using SKTools or something would work? I didn't try that]

I don't know if this is a decent workaround or not, as I'm still wrangling the "hard rest" issue, but it seemed to get at the problem.

my touch pro never operated so good. when i was on stock sprint rom before unlocking my device had a bunch of problems. i couldn't see my incoming calls, my bluetooth would constantly disconnect on it's own,youtube use to always have to stop and reload all the time not to mention a bunch of other problems. i called htc and sprint which none of them seemed to have solutions to their devices problems. NRGZ rom's has my device running like a BMW concept. the benefits of this rom way out do the minor tweeks that you have to do to his rom

Hi guys,

Getting a bit confussed now. I downloaded the 60509 version and run it on a GSM Touch Pro in China. Now I read this ROM is for CDMA, so am I getting senile, but why can I run it at a GSM one? I remember this thread being under GSM updates, and now it is under CDMA... Or are some braincells gone after last weekend?

Using radio ROM 1.02.25.19 and have a battery life of 24-36hrs at this moment with this ROM

I see that too, thats why I'm asking.
But still, how come I can use EnergyROM 3.0 60509 in a GSM version running fine without any major problems?

I had some issues as well with Hotmail at first. Here are the configuration settings [from post #4]:

. Anyone a idea how i get my hotmail account on this rom?by: anothersmith How about this HOW TO CONFIGURE HOTMAIL ACCOUNT ON YOUR DEVICE and GMAIL ACCOUNT BY: bapski

If everything is configured and you're still not getting email, check the size of your inbox. I had about 5,000 messages in my Hotmail inbox...it was never an issue before, but it did not work when I configured it with the pop3 settings. I simply moved everything into folders and it corrected the issue. I was able to get 2 Hotmail, 1 Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo set up.

Also, for Hotmail...make sure "@hotmail.com" appears after your username when you're getting it set up.
