The values for the icons that used to be in those first 5 slots (--switchto manila blahblahblah) are actually still being handed to whatever application ends up in those slots. Most programs don't seem to care, but Opera will kick out a page load error that shows the original program link and from your experience it would seem File Explorer is another app that is picky in those slots. I mentioned it some days (and a build or two) ago but I think it got buried as things do...

i am waiting for the port of manila 2.5, cause frankly, this version is trash imho. the first 5 slots of the manila programs tab for some reason want manila commands in it (calendar, etc) i to be honest, havent really even looked into that problem, i personally disable that tab in my manila
every other program should work, i have tested them all myself. the only problems left with manila shoyuld be the contact scrolling, and facebook stating it failed when it really didnt.

Well the problem with the contacts has gotten me to try and try different ROMs. Yours is not the only one in that there seems to be problems. In another ROM I can edit the contact fine, but for some reason a couple of ringtones of my won't show, or the last 3 on the bottom won't stay on-screen till I pick it. I will keep this in mind whenever you get it fixed, let me know. Thanks

yes but in the other roms with scrolling working, you cannot import your personal facebook profile. you can only link contacts. thats why i have stayed with the no scrolling, because you can always use the d-pad or edit them in the windows contact editor.

works here. should bring up a prompt asking you if you would like to shut off the phone. do u mean holding down the end key?

Oh, O.K. not too familiar with what facebook does or does not do. Like twitter it doesn't interest me a whole lot. Have you tried the SSK ROM? it seems to work fine, missing a few things that makes yours special, but I can live with it for now. (The edit contacts feature works good in that one)
