Make sure on your settings tab in Manila that your G sensor is off for screen rotation. With mine, if that was turned on and I was using the WinMo texting instead of Manila it would rotate, then kick back on me. Turned of G sensor in Manila, and it stopped.

You know, I've had some clock issues too. The world clock has been fixed, but I have the clock issue still. Let me guess... you're on Sprint like I am.

Sprints servers screw up the system time, and text time stamps all the time. Every time I go see the in-laws, and they are in the same time zone us I am (They are only a 30 minute drive from me) but Sprint coverage is a bit patchy and the time gets changed. I even turned off the automatic time update and it still does it.

Is there any end-user setup needed in that driver suggestion I sent you? I'm still not totally clear on how it's supposed to benifit speed, but anxious to try none the less.

well, Its basically like virtual folder mapping from my understanding. As to user end, if you install any cab's over the rom, yes. there is a helpful program that lets u convert your cabs to utilize the extendir function. As to the precooked rom, i have already done my part Hope this helps.

Sorry, just noticed that you must have given your last post.

Have you had time to see if extendir is really capable of the speed increases that it's claiming?

The extendir driver was supposed to boost the speed of the overall system up to 12x. When I sent you that PM about it, I hadn't read all the details on how to impliment it. My curiousity is if there will be any end-user setup required, or if just cooking it in the ROM just makes the majic happen.
hey guru i see great minds think alike. i also hit deck with a pm about this. from my understanding just so noone gets there hopes up too high i don't think it is supposed to boost the overall system 12x i think just in certain situations. i believe there is end user involvement required to get full potential but not to see the improvements. it basically comes in a suite of other software that i assume the user would use to tweak it to achieve its full potential. i will read up more on it and you do the same and whatever we find one of us could either post on here or atleast post the link to help others out.

I was wondering how it was going to work from Deck's end due to the fact it said with the driver you could cook a ROM with way less files than before.

I guess what I read in to it was that it would speed up the operating system by the way files were called up. So I was figuring that meant some changes to a few directories as well as the driver itself. But it's all new stuff, so what it's capable of right now is all new to me.

yea i am assuming the same. if i read correctly in addition to being faster due to the way files are called, we should have way more free memory to deal with which for verizon users would be awesome all around and for people on sprint like me, or any other carrier for that matter, should experience less freeze ups.
