That's 6.5, not 6.5.1, 23016 is almost identical to 23017.

Edit: looking at the comments it appears he released 21864 and 23071 roms but it doesn't look like he updated the first post.

Well I see you posted your 2 sense of nonsense.
I guess this ROM isnt jacked up enough to have 400 pages of fixes tweaks and other garbage to make it usable it's already to go.
But, if you compare that to other ROMs I guess there just isn't enough crap in this ROM to make it useless. Thus justifying Threads that contain tons of tweaks, adjustments, soft resets, brickage, reset, hard reset...That make them so wonderfully sensible.

Has anyone else noticed that the GPS location is way off in some programs since using this ROM? So far I have in seen it in two programs that I use...The first is Google maps, It shows my location as about a mile off, and says "Your location within 2300 meters" where as with the stock sprint rom running GM always had me DEAD ON! The second program is Sprite Terminator, and my GPS location reported from it says I am somewhere in ASIA and I am in Ohio! Any Ideas? As this might be a deal breaker for this ROM for me, as I use the GPS ALOT!
Other then this I REALLY like this rom, so I hope it can be figured out.

in google maps it will quickly report your location roughly thanks to agps which is turned on by the rom, in order to get your accurate location u must push menu, use gps, then wait a few seconds to get an actual gps lock and u will see it is very accurate, i dont have sprite terminator so i can't comment, all i know is gps is super fast and agps gets it started quickly

I dont know what version of Google map is in this rom, but what is weird is the option to "Use GPS" is not even listed in the "Menu" list! So I dont know if it is getting its location from cell towers or what. But, there is definatly some kind of issue with this rom, my phone and the GPS, because I loaded another GPS program simular to Sprite Terminator, which locates your phone via GPS if it is lost, and both programs say my pnone is in Asia....Looks like I will try a different Rom for now!

I have the newest available version of Google Maps in my ROM, and 'Use GPS' is most definitely an option in the Google Maps menu, you just have to scroll down to see it. AGPS is a new feature that tries to home in on your location via cellular triangulation. I suggest you give it another try I have no idea what Sprite Terminator but you could always try using QuickGPS to test whether your GPS is even working. It's in Start->Gps->QuickGPS.

LOL....Yep...I am officially a Dumbass! I am so used to I guess an older version of Goog Maps that I did not even realize that that menu scrolled!
Once I checked "Use GPS" it homed right in on me! As for Sprite Terminator AKA Sprite moble swipe, and WIMP aka "Where is my Phone" they are programs that either lock, wipe memory, or locate via GPS your lost PPC, by simply texting a code from an aproved "Friends Phone" and I REALLY recommend these proggies.....allthough up untill now I have been using them on my "Stock Sprint" TP with Win 6.1 so these programs might not be compatable with 6.5... I will have to look further into it!

But thanks for clearing the GM problem up for me Psyki....and thanks for the great ROM
