I dont know what version of Google map is in this rom, but what is weird is the option to "Use GPS" is not even listed in the "Menu" list! So I dont know if it is getting its location from cell towers or what. But, there is definatly some kind of issue with this rom, my phone and the GPS, because I loaded another GPS program simular to Sprite Terminator, which locates your phone via GPS if it is lost, and both programs say my pnone is in Asia....Looks like I will try a different Rom for now!

I have the newest available version of Google Maps in my ROM, and 'Use GPS' is most definitely an option in the Google Maps menu, you just have to scroll down to see it. AGPS is a new feature that tries to home in on your location via cellular triangulation. I suggest you give it another try
I have no idea what Sprite Terminator but you could always try using QuickGPS to test whether your GPS is even working. It's in Start->Gps->QuickGPS.
