Great rom Psyki!...quick question to anybody....is there anyway to speed up how long it takes to for the items on the calendar tab to view when you click on the current day? (not sure if that came out clear enough) Thanks

I am just gettingin the whole thing of flashing different roms and i must say, i am very impressed by your work.

This is excellent!

One question i have is, do you have a cab file to revert the on screen virtual keyboard back to its original stock default one? That seems to be a bit easier than this one?

This ROM is excellent! I have been HEAVILY testing this ROM over the last 48, I've found a few bugs, none major, bare with me about any repeats, this thread is several hundred pages long, and I've haven't read every detail.

1 - In landscape mode, the default Manila background shows through about 3px on the right side. This is probably a Manila 2.1 bug, but I'm not positive.

2 - A fair bit of files seem to be locked in ROM that I haven't seen before, including fonts, and Start menu links. My usual shenanigans of replacing font files with Resco and using RE/Start to re-arrange my menu don't work in this ROM. Total Commander has the "in ROM" bit checked for these items, which is nothing new, but Resco spits up an access denied error when replacing and confirming these files.

3 - 6.5 Slide Unlocker tends to be very slow, and sometimes lags 2-3 seconds.

4 - Alarms by default do not work. You will need to either disable popup notifiers (I hate them, so this was a given for me) or use G-Alarm which is included.

5 - The auto-adjust backlight is especially wonky in this ROM over many others. This isn't often, and a quick 3 seconds of my thumb over the light sensor fixes it with no problem.

6 - DiamondTweak auto-lock doesn't seem to work, not sure if this is an issue with 23017.

7 - Pressure Sensitivity is much higher than those on Stock, Juicy, Energy or NFSFAN will be used to. A quick registry tweak is all that's needed. This isn't a problem per se, but I'm all for feather touch.

8 - 6.5 Kinetic Scrolling, even with the cab posted by Psyki, seems to be really slow in E-mail.

All in all, this ROM is absolutely ready for prime time, much more than all of the newest round of ROM's coming out. I've tried them ALL for what that's worth, I love this one.

i am thinking its more of a location issue than a rom issue... my co-worker tried silence's rom and it didnt work with it either.... strangest thing tho is every once in a great while it will go ahead and pick up my location.... but if this is the only thing i cant get to work on this rom i will live without it... this thing is AMAZING!!!!

In regards to your problem #1, I don't know if anyone else figured this out but psyki had posted the original black backround cab for his rom. When you combine this cab with the rom, you actually remove the pixels on the end and your landscape mode looks flawless. I hope this helps others out there.

Ive been using this rom since it came out and have loved it as for problems i didnt notice anythig till today .Think is that i was missing alot of my calls since i updated i just thought i had insensitive thighs and bad ears cuz i wasnt hearing the ringing or feeling the phone vibrating.

My settings for cal notification are VIbrate and Ring as if i dont notice one i might notice the other as im usually in a loud environment. Anyway whenever i need to silence the phone i press down on the volume button till it goes to vibrate. and when i go back out i press up on the volume button to raise the volume back to full.The problem is that for some reason the phone looses its "Vibrate and Ring" settting when i do that and changes back to only Ring, hence why i keep missing my calls.

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

Bugs I've found during several days of testing:

1. Pressure sensitivity is very high. I've adjusted it using the registry edit, but it seems to have reverted back most likely after a soft reset.

2. Click and Hold option takes about twice as long (if not longer) to activate within most applications.

3. I use Pocket Controller to access my device quite often. I've only seen it on this rom, but typing any of the shift number keys to access symbols doesn't work. Attempting to type a $ sign gives me a number 4. Using the on-screen keyboard works fine, but doesn't work through the PC. Switching to a different keyboard didn't fix the issue. Strange thing it works fine using My Mobiler.

4. I don't use the alarms, so I can't add to that issue

As far as ROMS go, 23017 I think is a very good one. Ringtones are loud (unlike 23016) and response time is good in general. It's a great rom and I'm looking forward to a few fixes and it would be perfect in my opinion.
