Hmm, I remember when I first got the phone I was trying to use left and right buttons and it kept hitting the other buttons so much I just gave up on it. My left button is really hard to use though, it likes to enter or home instead, maybe that's why I gave up on it and forgot it was supposed to work lol!

I really do not need the data backup so much, but the extra features could be a life saver. From my home computer I had no problem locating my phone, I sent it a ring signal even when it was on vibrate, and I locked the phone. The only service I did not try was the wipe info option for obvious reasons. The only defect I could find was that if you select the backup memory card option it does not let you choose what folders and you will quickly eat up the 200 megs of alloted memory.

Conclusion, so far its a keeper.
i mainly use it to backup my contacts, calendar, and text messages. i dont use it for much else because it takes so long to sync. But, I definately agree. Its a keeper.

I have the new myphone cooked into the upcoming rom It's nice and all but it's sloooooow, forget backing up or restoring hundreds of text messages. I use gmail for contacts/calendar/email, I have sdconfig set up to restore my gmail/activesync info so it's all good to go every time I hard-reset

Back up is slow, I just use outlook, but what I like is the rescue options it give you if your phone is lost or stolen. You can trace its location, lock it up, leave a message on the screen and even wipe out all data on the phone and card remotely. For once Microsoft has even has even got the service fee set up right. Back up is free and you are only charged for rescue services if you use them, and that ain't much, 4.95 for 7 days access. If someone steals my phone with all the info I have on it 4.95 is dirt cheap to get it back or wipe it out at worst. And I have to confess I have set my phone down with the ringer off and spent an half a day lookin for it so being able to override and ring remotely might come in handy.
Also the rescue services are supposed to be free untill 11-30-09 so you can try it with no pain.

You have a good looking rom here psyki. Very nice. Is there a standalone cab for the pocketsand game. I think I'm in love.

Thanks! I think you're the first person to ever comment about pocketsand! I used to LOVE that game on my apache, it was the first game I got when I got my TP. Too bad it's not VGA though, the buttons are tiny
