Back up is slow, I just use outlook, but what I like is the rescue options it give you if your phone is lost or stolen. You can trace its location, lock it up, leave a message on the screen and even wipe out all data on the phone and card remotely. For once Microsoft has even has even got the service fee set up right. Back up is free and you are only charged for rescue services if you use them, and that ain't much, 4.95 for 7 days access. If someone steals my phone with all the info I have on it 4.95 is dirt cheap to get it back or wipe it out at worst. And I have to confess I have set my phone down with the ringer off and spent an half a day lookin for it so being able to override and ring remotely might come in handy.
Also the rescue services are supposed to be free untill 11-30-09 so you can try it with no pain.
