When i check out my "EVDO" connection there is no username/password details, but locally the data connection is working fine (opera, pandora etc). I dont recall my user name and password, nor with any other ROM have I tweaked these settings...


Anyone else see this, and are there any work arounds?

What do you guys think the best radio for this rom is? Im currently on sprint and using V3 of this ROM. I think its the perfect ROM.

Thanks, i found that line. but for some reason i cannot delete it.

hmm. ive tried the edit button, the tools button, ive tried even pressing on it and nothing will pop up.

There is no such thing as a "best radio". Radio performance varies by area. People in the same exact area may even prefer different radios because of battery life versus signal strength, etc. Gotta try em all. Get used to the FieldTrial program... create a shortcut. I am currently running the Verizon 1.03.03 radio because I need building penetration and this has proven best. Drawback? Battery life.

What are you using for a reg editor? I was able to delete it quite easily with CeRegEditor running on my PC.

We've got another little gorgeous thing in the wings that I hope we can release in the next day or two. I'm using it now and it takes the ROM to a whole new level visually.

I always found all manilla messiging to sux big time, even in manilla 2.5 beta I tried.
So I like it this way and feel lucky this rom is customized just like I want it.

Most older "manilla" cabs will not work, or break your manilla 2.1

I did not have this problem.. biggest battery saver is the EVDO connection time. It stays on after used, sooo...
Go into the "advance config" program. click bottom tab for "more settings", then goto connections, check box to set your data to disconnect in a min or two after use...

Also it is a good practice to Hard Reset.
I always hard reset BEFORE and AFTER a flash and never have any problems. Some users flash original rom to solve major problems but it is usually a customization problem.

Hey you two guys, dont forget that "Sashimi" & "UC" and other startup customization programs will "look" to put stuff that may not be compatible with this newer manilla & rom.
I always take out my memory card so that upon first install, the rom wont waste time looking at my card for extra installs.
Then after I use the rom for a while I will setup my customizations far that particular rom, so next time I can use a "Sashimi" or "UC".

This is the only bug I feel is keeping me from keeping this rom installed.
I put my name & password to try to solve, but still no Internet Sharing as I always get same error.
Did not have time to look into it further so I had to go back to energy for now... :/

Also, I think it has to do with the pagepool, that pictures not loading as fast as could be, as I can tell this is a fast rom.

i was able to use the built in phm registry editor in start utilites. i just found the string held my finger on it and clicked delete on the pop up
