Hello, just an FYI, I will try to release an updated/fixed rom by this weekend as I'll be gone from friday afternoon through sunday. Mostly just bug fixes but I have a couple new packages to throw in as well. Stay tuned.

Good call, I remember from my apache days that you have to turn on data first, manually, before phone as modem will work. Weird.

Go into the "advance config" program. click bottom tab for "more settings", then goto connections, check box to set your data to disconnect in a min or two after use...

Another big battery saver is using Lumos backlight wizard which is included in the rom (start->settings). I have a preconfigured setup file but you still have to start the program and then click "exit", it will ask if you want to start lumos, just hit yes.

ya even on stock rom i always needed an active data connection, i found that to be the case with about 65% of the usb ics ive used on tp, i just check my weather then open ics.

luckily the new htc wifi sharing app does it all, itll enable wifi and data automatically and im pretty sure it even disables wifi when u end it

ill be looking forward to the update before this weekend, this rom is too solid for me and im getting flashing withdrawals now so im trying to tweak the hell out of it till it breaks just so i can hard reset, lol.... i better do a pimbackup just in case. i also went into lumos and adjusted some settings pretty aggressively as well as another battery tweak, if all goes well ill know if they had some positive results by around 6pm today, usually when my batt goes dead

So I turned the lumos backlight on and was wondering how it works or what it does? Ive kept it off till now since ya said it saves power... But how so?

ok so after some more messing with the phone.. so far my issues..

When you click the Call button, and it goes to most recent call list. well its suppose to have a list. my screen is blank, but if i scroll up or down #s show up. its kinda like a ghost.

also, my contacts page, where i have my favorites, i click on the phone button and nothing happens. and when i click on the persons avatar it goes into their info, and when i click call mobile, still nothing happens.

also, how do you change the clock. its hard to get use to the glass one. i liked the white clock from psyki 3

It has a few different settings for how and when it dims or brightens the backlight, like optimized for bright light, low light, etc. I have the default dimming ratio which is fine for most uses but in a nutshell what it does is dims the backlight "better" when you're in a low-light situation. At night or in the dark I notice the screen is definitely more dim than it would be with the stock auto-adjusting backlight.

ahhh, ok gotcha.
