Don't forget, 6.5 is still beta, so it will only continue to improve.

Re: WM 6.5 Is it worth it?

Sorry, but I've got to rant just a little here.

I've seen that a ton of people who have never flashed a 6.5 ROM trying out Juicy/MM's Copper project. For most of them I think it's probably a mistake. 6.5 is still beta (actually probably alpha!) - we don't have an official RC from Microsoft afaik. Copper is stripped down to it's bones on purpose. The idea is to start benchmarking and seeing how it all works, see what needs to be added and what doesn't, etc.

As for all the customizing - it will happen eventually. You can't seriously expect it to be all nice and easy before the OS has even been release do you? TBH - a lot of the effort people are spending on trying to figure out how Titanium works may be a little bit wasted. MS has already announced that they are going to release a new version of their old Theme Customizer. I'm sure that documentation for Titanium will be released at some point. Eventually we'll see all sorts of cool widgets being built. For now though, we just need to be patient. And if you want all the functionality of TF3d, then by all means use TF3d. It runs great on 6.5 - smooth as butter!

Agreed...very well said. But, I still enjoy tinkering with Titanium and playing around with different modifications to it, even if they may be short lived.

OK, i've read the last 5 pages and I've seen the subjects of speed and UI come up several times but no mention of battery life. Has that improve any?

Absolutely! Playing around with new stuff is hellafun... that's why I'm a developer IRL - lol

My rant was just because I was seen a ton of people complaining about how sparse 6.5 is and wanting to know why the panels don't do stuff they want it to, etc.

I started up the battery logger just a little bit ago and left my phone to sit. I have it set to automatically receive emails from exchange at work and checks my gmail every 30 min. I also have the Titanium Weather app checking the weather every 30 min. I'm using the 1.11 radio.

Here's a copy of the log. I have nothing to compare it to though...

Re: WM 6.5 Is it worth it?

ummmm..... im never going back to 6.1......

6.5 just keeps getting better and better.

6.1 is not really finger friendly

6.5 is. i can actually scroll through my text messages, contacts, programs menu correctly

gotta love kinetic scrolling =) - that's the #1 reason why I'm on 6.5 for good

Thank you for this valuable input. Why is this not important to some people? I hate the stylus! Someone was talking about usability earlier in this thread. Well, there it is.

I'm a bit confused. I thought I already had kinetic scrolling on 6.1? Like flicking up and down your contacts right?

Don't want to sound like a hater, but running Mightymike's 4.16 I hardly ever pull out the stylus or click on the wrong things. 6.1 base is probably not finger friendly, but with all the enhancements it has received (rhodium) it is plenty finger friendly to me. And no I don't have little fingers.
