Thats devicelock 1.1, I took it off because of that.


As for the stock lock, anyone else having this issue. When you get a incoming call it always says unknown, if you are locked. The names never display, its always unknown.

Im flashing the update soon. Whats the best back-up tool to use?

I was able to overwrite it using Total Commander. When you got that pop-up in Resco about the ROM file, it didn't have an option to overwrite it anyway? Also, make sure the image you are using is actually a .png file, not just a .jpeg renamed with a .png extension. If it is a .jpeg, all you would need to do is open it with ms paint on your computer and save as a .png file.

No, it didn't give me the option to overwrite it but i was using a .jpeg with a .png extention...thanks for the help, i will be sure to give it a shot when i get off from work

That's what happen when the person calling does'nt want to reveal thier identity, if u stop being so Anal this problem will resolve on it's own. Also, for someone that know so much about keyboards function, you sure as hell ask a stupid ?. Best back up????? Go figure!!

Dude calm down, I called my cell phone from my fathers cell and it still came up unknown. I been testing it out all day yesterday. The numbers that I used to call my phone is all programed in my phone.

I was just asking whats the best back up program to use is that such a stupid question, and where have you seen me talk about knowing a lot about keyboard functions.

You need to watch how you talk to people.

I seriously don't know where that came from, I haven't even been here long and I don't recall seeing this guy ever. Anyway that is a issue, I have been testing it out for a wile now.

Go to settings/lock and make a pin number. Then turn the phone off and turn it back on and you should see the lock function.

Have someone call you and it will come up Unknown, but when you answer it the name pops up.

What thread are you referring to, you may have me mistaken for someone else.

I'm truly appolagetic for my actions towards you and anyone else that I've offended. It's a matter of mistaken identity.The user in ? is GreyWolff. The name seemed so likely to yours. However, due to a ban from that particular thread I was'nt able to make a true distinction untill someone sent me a p.m. identifying the culprit. All I recall @ the time I made comments were the similar titles and same # of reps.
