Sorry for crappin the thread w/ talk of another rom... Im itching to try either this, or the aformention rom, but dont know what to choose.. they both look good, as i really like tf3d2 and have been dying to try 6.5 as these are the only two roms available with both, and they both sound great thus far Im up in the air... any input or feedback would be great, thanks

Oh and p.s. hows battery life in comparison to 6.1 roms... i fear the 6.5 w/ tf3d2 combo might weigh heavy on batt usage...
My suggestion is to try them both. If you're moving to 6.5, get used to flashing anyway b/c new builds come out pretty often. As far as the battery life, you shouldn't see any difference as long as your usage is the same as before as long as you have all the same battery tweaks that you currently use.

Nice, thanks for the feedback Hafrust... appreciate good support when its provided on this forum... I am used to flashin so not to worried, so i think ill just try you sugesstion, and flash both... run em for a couple days and see which I prefer, until some other 6.5 updated vversion comes out... appreciate the input on battery life also... wasnt sure if running havin both would be a problem, but it shouldnt being 6.5 is just the OS version and rhodium manilla is just the Updated UI... no diff than running 6.1 w/ tf3d (at least theoretically)..lol...thanks again!

Granted, this was all with the stock Sprint Touch Pro ROM. I'm now running Juicy 6 (for the last week) and have been eyeing Phantom for the last few days, now that I have a taste of custom ROMs.
I was using SPB 2.0 to back up JD seven and Mighty 4.13, were getting all types of errors, When I asked about errors I was getting in one of JD's thread, he linked a cab to Sprite. I'ved used & never looked back!

I may be mistaken, but is'nt Merdins 4.1 beta 2 manilla rom in this category? Reviews seem positive in that rom thread.

Yes the battery life isn't effected. My phone runs Skype, Twitter, And MSN Messenger 24/7. I was also listening to music all day yesterday and I was fine.

Opera will drain your battery tho lol.

Like Hafrust said flash both, test then make a decision. I haven't tried any other 6.5 roms yet. I found no issues with this one (other than the Unknown caller thing).

I think you will like this rom, im going to try the others you mentioned also.

Love how fast the updates are coming for this Rom, we need a banner for Sigs lol.

Edit: Just saw that the Star rom still has the Honeycomb start menu, thats a no no for me. I do like how it has the 6.5 Themes but its not that tempting, I will test it sometime tho.

Is anyone else having this Unknown caller issue? I've been waiting for the update tonight to flash, but if this is a common bug it might be a deal killer.

Lol... yeah Opera is a serious batterry killer, especially after I realized I could play music and games for 2-3 hours straight and lose on 20-30 percent battery life w/ my preferred tweeaks, but run opera for 20 - 30 mins, and lose 30-40 percent battery...lol insane... great browser... but serious drainage...

Since Ive yet to test the 6.5, dont know about the honeycomb start menu, so i have to test it to see if I like the feel... if not, i can alway install the tf3d2 start or quickmenu... Im eager to try this rom as well, but since he's updating soon, id rather wait for that, than flash it now!

But I will be testing it out soon enuff

Thanks!

Re: PhantomROM WM6.5 TouchPro Rhodium (21198)

Nice ROM, I am just giving 6.5 a shot and see how I like it and so far I'm loving it. I noticed that within texting/email (Messaging) when scrolling, it was a lot more fluid/responsive, it was pretty much similar to iPhone style flick scrolling and I am really loving that. I wanted to know if that was a 6.5 feature or some sort of HTC enhancement that cab be ported over to 6.1 ROMs.

Thanks.

Flashing now, will tell you what I think, sounds like a great improvement.

I know you been testing it, like you always do.

Be right back .
