If it is a .jpeg, all you would need to do is open it with ms paint on your computer and save as a .png file.
No, it didn't give me the option to overwrite it but i was using a .jpeg with a .png extention...thanks for the help, i will be sure to give it a shot when i get off from work

Re: PhantomROM WM6.5 TouchPro Rhodium (21198)

Nice ROM, I am just giving 6.5 a shot and see how I like it and so far I'm loving it. I noticed that within texting/email (Messaging) when scrolling, it was a lot more fluid/responsive, it was pretty much similar to iPhone style flick scrolling and I am really loving that. I wanted to know if that was a 6.5 feature or some sort of HTC enhancement that cab be ported over to 6.1 ROMs.

Thanks.

I seriously don't know where that came from, I haven't even been here long and I don't recall seeing this guy ever. Anyway that is a issue, I have been testing it out for a wile now.

Go to settings/lock and make a pin number. Then turn the phone off and turn it back on and you should see the lock function.

Have someone call you and it will come up Unknown, but when you answer it the name pops up.

I have this same problem, but once in a while the name shows. I have disabled the TF3D dialer screen and im wondering if that has anything to do with it. I think ill re-enable it and see if im still having the problems.

That was said to be a possible fix. I will test also but I don't know where to disable the TF3D dialer, can you point me in the right direction? (noob question again lol)

The thread is at http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=47068, but basically you change the registry entry below.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Security / Phone / Skin
change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0

Yes I tried SPB backup and it just doesn't workout. Im using P.I.M at the moment because my phone is rather new and I only have messages on it. I will look into getting Sprite Backup, I have to find it first.

Sounds good, looking forward to the update.

Re: PhantomROM WM6.5 TouchPro Rhodium (21198)

SPB Backup 2.01 has been working fine for me. I run scheduled backups every weekend and have been able to restore them in the past.

I also use PIMBackup for ROM upgrades, just for the call log and text message history. (I get everything else from my corporate Exchange server)

Granted, this was all with the stock Sprint Touch Pro ROM. I'm now running Juicy 6 (for the last week) and have been eyeing Phantom for the last few days, now that I have a taste of custom ROMs.

Phantom is a very nice rom, no big issues (nearly no issues). A update will be coming later today, I say give it a try.

I'm also going to flash other roms, but this rom is what I will always come back to.

Edit: Downloading Sprite Backup now .
